WHY: Lessons in Self Publishing?
This space started strong and has been lacking for the past few weeks. I know I have been traveling and my publishing business just published two books, so... busy, busy, busy! BUT, I want a refresh here. More people helping people. More publishing tips. More successfully published books! Please comment below why you joined this group and lets get back to WHY WE ARE HERE!
WHY: Lessons in Self Publishing?
Quick question for authors…
When someone discovers your book… what happens next? Do they: Find all your books easily? Understand your story and message? Stay connected with you? Or do they just… leave? A lot of great writers are losing readers right at that moment not because their work isn’t good, but because there’s no clear place guiding them. I’ve been helping authors quietly fix this by creating simple, clean spaces that turn interest into real readers and long-term support. No pressure, but if you feel like your work deserves better visibility and connection, I’ll happy to take a look and point you in the right direction. I can help you make a more aggressive or more subtle version depending on what you want or style.
What Tools/Platforms Are You Using?
I have been stuck in Reedsy and I love it! But, I know I need to try new things. Recently I started using Novelium. While it looks dated, it has some pretty cool features. It has a lot that can help with the editing phase of publishing. Theres a violations section where you can upload your manuscript and see if there are any discrepancies. This has been super helpful. (If you are interested in trying them, use my 20% off cupon code Danielle26! *Quick plug lol) What are platform do you use when writing and why?
