Horizontal Hive
Jorge, Would love to know your thoughts on this type of hive. I was watching YouTube and saw it.

I think it could work in Texas. But tomorrow we will go over how bees prefer to organize themselves and you will find that single story hives are not what they prefer. If they do organize themselves horizontally in a shallow space it is usually under a building that provides protection and a void space (mainly the room above them) and then a secondary roof to the building. So very rare to see a horizontal configuration with a single roof.

Lab testing
Just watched your YouTube. I am even more excited to learn this way of beekeeping! You had mentioned sending your honey and the store bought ones on the video to a lab. I just wanted to share this as an option. I plan on sending mine in but just haven’t quite gotten to it yet.
