Keeping track
Hi everyone, pretty new to the world of perfume so still lots of stuff to discover & learn. Now I was wondering how you keep track of the perfumes you've smelled? I tend to make lists and notes so I have this note where I write some stuff, but it feels very chaotic since my explanations for some smells aren't very detailed ("smells too sporty for me" for example). So: where do you keep track? And what are the things you make sure to jot down regarding your opinion on specific perfumes?

@David Ernst Good option as well, gives lots of flexibility that way! Do you give ratings or labels to the ones you tried?

@Jeff Beason oh okay that sounds like an easy and good option haha! Think I even have an account on there, thanks for sharing 😄
Latest haul
Went to get a full bottle of Ombre Leather as my travel size is almost empty. Damn fathers day was all out of stock. Ended up with Superleggra and a perfume shop own brand bottle that hits along the lines of Bacarat Rouge. In other good news, the bottle of Moustache I ordered a few weeks ago came in. Been on my list for ages, wanted to compare it against Suits until I can acquire a bottle of Tuxedo. Happy fathers day to all the great dads out there tomorrow,

Just noticed this post & the Moustache one looks fun and nice. How do you like this? 🙂

Green Envy / Alexandria Fragrances — today was another Alexandria inspired by/dupe of PDM’s Greenley. As per usual, scarcely close and stupidly long lasting, a compliment magnet all day. “At the heart of Green Envy is a winning combination of oakmoss, musk, and amberwood, balanced with fresh notes of petitgrain, green apple, mandarin, and calabrian bergamot. The result? A fragrance that is both masculine and refreshing, with just the right amount of edge.” ~ notes from the brand

Thanks for bringing this one to my attention! This Alexandria Fragrances brand does seem to make 'clones' from a lot of perfumes, is this a well-known thing and better than buying the original fragrances?
Fragrance Apprentice
Oh my god. If you don't watch the Fragrance Apprentice you need to put him on your play list. The guy is over the top and dramatic, but makes some of the best points about the industry and fragrance collecting as a whole. https://youtu.be/swNHFL5Ev0g

Saw the one million bottle so I clicked and had to laugh with the title 😂 Made me think of this video which is hilarious imo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYoBiYHJjr4
Armani Code EDT
Lavender and vanilla you already know I’m in love. I would say this is a “sensitive masculine” scent that has moderate projection/sillage and decent longevity. This is an anytime/anywhere fragrance that is safe for a daily signature or to wear at the office. Versatile, sophisticated, clean. Tonka and cedar hold it down. No magnetic 🧲 cap 😢.

Where does the vanilla smell come from since it's not in the ingredients? Also adding this on my 'smell list' since I love these ingredients. With EDT's there's this prejudice in my head that it's always very subtle, is that the case for you?
