Packaging is king
Most people think YouTube rewards the best content. It doesn't. It rewards the best packaging. YouTube is a click-first platform. You have to convince someone to click before they ever see how good your content is. What's your current title formula? How do you come up with them?

If you're new here
Welcome to the After Hours YouTube Club. This community is for people building a YouTube channel while keeping their job. No quitting required. Just you, your story, and whatever time you've got after hours. Here's where to start: 1. Go to the classroom and work through the niche and format course first. It'll save you from making the wrong video for the wrong audience. 2. Introduce yourself. Where are you from, what do you do for work, and what kind of channel are you building or thinking about building? No pressure to have it all figured out. Most people here are somewhere in the middle of figuring it out too.

Let's transform!
What would be the most useful insight I could provide to y'all on a weekly basis Food for thought: What kind of help do you really wanna get out of this community? Help me help you lol
Sometimes you don't hit your goals
That's fine. Most people treat a missed goal like evidence that something is wrong with them. It isn't. A goal is a direction. You aimed at something, you moved toward it, and you ended up somewhere different than you planned. That's what we call in the biz, progress But don't stop just because you missed a goal please! The creator who wanted 1k subs by December and hit 400 is closer than they were. The person who wanted to post three times a week and managed once is still in the game. The one who quit because they didn't hit the number is the only one who actually lost. Goals are useful because they create direction and urgency. Set the goal. Miss it if you have to. Adjust and keep going. Where are you at with yours right now?
