Eye Contact
Was walking down the street and started to assume what if everything I want I already have? I started to feel the whole, feeling complete and non needy energy. An attractive girl was walking my direction and we locked eyes for longer than a second and she broke eye contact first. I noticed I felt quite grounded and would say this is a win as I would never hold eye contact like that normally.

That's a good start. It's good to imagine you are the sun beaming the eye contact like a ray of sunshine....

hi im Nate
Im here to learn from the master himself, not just on improving my relations with women but also understand myself better and living a better life. I want to be more charismatic cuz I believe charisma is the most powerful weapon one can wield.

Hi Nate, glad to have you here bro. You're the man for the job!
Intro
Hi all, I’m Nick - I live in Melbourne, and have for most of my life. I was attracted to this community because I recently (maybe about 6 months ago) broke up with my long term girlfriend, and want to find better, more congruent ways to meet a future partner than the dating apps. I am fairly socially confident but have always been a little nervous talking to women, especially directly, and have feelings that I am inconveniencing them or bothering them or what not. Because of this, I have always seemed to meet my girlfriends through friends, and it is my goal (hopefully with your assistance) to broaden my horizons a little in this respect. Thank you for having me, and I look forward to learning,

Good to see you Nick. Totally understand the need to get back out there and start being more direct. The "inconveniencing" thing is a common concern. Typically people with high emotional intelligence have this issue. As your concern is usually on their experience. However this can make us not take any action and life passes us by. So there's some challenges to do which will legitimise talking to women, plus reframing things so that you're more focussed on expression.
Hello, I'm here!
Hello there fellow social masters of all things social. My name is Alex, I was born in Romania but grew up in Canada from a young age. Currently living in Montreal, but likely for not too much longer. I had a very religious upbringing but once I moved out, I got to be social for the first time in my life. I was attending social events, toastmasters, improv classes, I even did standup comedy once. Before all of this I was basically a basement dwelling kid who played video games all day. Similar to John Cooper's story in his book, I was naturally learning through play and self-expression, until I unfortunately came across The Game, and suddenly believed there was some special way you had to be. I wasted quite a bit of my life learning a million different things that I had not needed in the past. After a recent layoff from a job I had for 10 years, I met John in Budapest and noticed how much we had in common as far as our histories and understandings, so I was excited to see what kind of people he brings together in this community.

Love that!! Reward comes from the quality of the expression not the other person's reaction! A good video to watch is my "Becoming the Social Artist" in the foundations chapter. I talk about how the idea of not caring what other's think came from learning to become the true artist.
