Happy father's day to those of you out there with the lil ones running around! So they motivate you to work harder? I am kidless. I feel if I had a young one, yes I obviously want to be healthy and stick around for them for longer. Yes, show them how to take care of themselves properly. But, hear me out, I don't want them to beat me in anything... Ever. This will make that first time beating me in 21 or wiffleball or footy PKs when they are in their 30s so much more worth it! Thoughts? Also pictured my feelings towards the assault bike this morning. 20 mins - 200 cals at various efforts to start my week off right

Been off and on (mostly off) the last (enter a large number here) months. Trying to juggle a routine with a baby that has their own β€œroutine” is harder than I imagined. Realized that I will never not be not tired, which means workouts will be done tiredly. But hey, it’s getting done.

Since my oblique is swollen & lower back is properly fucked, I did what I could and my girls parents club. Worked on my shots from 75 yards out on most holes. Some it was only 50ish. Shot a 64... Which I want to be ok with but I'm simply not. GIR ... A JOKE. So, as I heal and play with the girlfriend in the future, I will play from the forward tees to fix this lower iron wedge play that's costing me so many strokes. Good news is putter is fire. At least I'm confident there. Shout out to @Ryan Bailey for breaking 100 with a 99 but could have broke 90 if he didn't almost shit himself on hole 12 πŸ’©

Broken Promises ; Excuses AMRAP
Last weekend I had visitors (a degenerate / best friend / coach/ enabler of all good things), which made getting back into the swing of things tough. I made a promise to my coach that I’ll get at least two sessions in. I had family in town this weekend so prepping for that, toddlers, etc.. ya boy didn’t get any workout in except for excuses. I tried to get a workout in while Nella napped, but she was not a fan of dad’s horrible form, small dumbbell choice, and grunting… Trying to be better this week. Today checks off 1 of 2 promises. @Tylae Westervelt @ other dads/ busy individuals : when do you get your workouts in?
