Once again I am drawn to French wines like a moth to a flame. Had this Bordeax Blanc last night at our favorite restaurant, Livia, in Geneva IL. They always have incredible wines. Might of just been my infantile nose but I thought I might’ve smell a spice like basil or oregano but definitely lemony and zingy. So delicious!

Got the chance to do the wine trail in Scottsdale this weekend and the wines definitely didn’t disappoint! I’d say my biggest takeaway, though, was that the red wines aren’t nearly as bold as they are from California or other regions of the world, but they were great nonetheless! And the passport is worth it to save a few bucks on multiple tastings if you ever go!

I was in Chicago for an eye appointment and made it to Bottles Up! My eyes were dilated so I couldn’t read any of the bottles labels … good thing I knew what types of questions to ask for wine recommendations 😆
