Luma just released Ray3, and there's some genuinely useful stuff here. The Game-Changer: Professional Integration Finally - 16-bit HDR with EXR export. This means we can actually bring AI footage into Resolve/Nuke/AE and grade it properly. No more weird color space nightmares. Smart Workflow Changes Two things that actually make sense: 1. Visual annotations - Draw on images instead of prompt engineering forever 2. Draft Mode → Hi-Fi Mode - Test ideas cheap/fast, then render only your selects in 4K HDR What to Watch For They're showing real shorts made with this ("Wasted" and "Subway"), not just tech demos. That's promising. But we still need answers on: - Actual clip duration limits - Real-world rendering times - Commercial usage rights The SDR to HDR conversion could be huge for archive footage if it works well. My Take This isn't about prettier pixels - it's about fitting into real pipelines. The EXR export alone shows they get it. Not replacing cameras tomorrow, but could be killer for previz, impossible shots, or enhancing existing footage. Anyone else have access? Share your results. Real tests > marketing claims. Almost at 400 members which is pretty awesome 🚀 Sorry there has not be much news here but I am DEEP in development on an AI automation app for AI Filmmakers, marketers, content creators and anyone who wants to automate the process from script to finish. The app is called Lumarka and I'm hoping to have a beta online soon. I am completely building it with AI automation tools including, but not limited to, Windsurf, Claude Code, ChatGPT 4o, Roo, Supabase, PostgreSQL and Claude desktop. 18 months ago I knew very little to nothing about coding. I'm not ready to show any screenshots of the UI but you all will be the first to see them. If anyone has any questions about what I'm doing or what the process is, give me a shout out, I'm happy to do my best to share what I'm doing.
