@Anna Morris Just an fyi, I'm an extensive user of ChatGPT Image 2, spend a couple hours or more writing prompts for it and using it daily. It does not upscale. It rerenders your image by passing it to it's native image model, Image 2.5. It's a complete rerender. I'd be very surprised if your upscales are the actual images upscaled, or 'reimagined' by ChatGPT and from what I've seen, the 'upscales' are below 2x. If you ask ChatGPT to 'Upscale' an image, you're going to get both Generative Drift (Faces, fine text, delicate linework, textures, and subtle details are rewritten or hallucinated rather than preserved) and loss of the original image fidelity, i.e, edge sharpness, structural preservation, and possibly other random changes.
