My sweater is finished!
Thank you for the opportunity to do my first colorwork sweater! I was doing two, one for my mom however we decided it will be too warm for her and I'll be doing a different sweater for her. ❀

Clue 5 done ... questions
I'll have mine finished at this rate. My mom is being slow about coming to try hers on...lol I like it but it feels a little bulky yet. I'm hoping after finishing is all done that mellows out some. If not this will be a camping sweater for the beginning and end of the season 😉 For the future.. what is the thinnest yarn you could use? Also, short rows creating a 'bump' on back of sweater.. kinda puffs up there. Very noticeable.. think that'll go away after finishing steps?

Help please?
Ok. Not sure why I'm struggling with this but here it goes. The sleeves.... I'm doing size 3 pullover(right sleeve). My starting point is row 16 st 24. I did the first round. (Picking up 18sts for underarm and 2 sts for gaps. Total 82 sts for sleeve) bor marker placed.. going around for second round. Still stay with st 24 as first sts..i get to bor (I'm short 1 st for that pattern repeat) slp bor and then purl first st. .... here's where I'm losing my mind...I have 9 stitches to get back to beginning of the pattern... what do I do here? My next row is just a knit row of color b. I apologize ahead of this is dumb question but my brain isn't following. Thank you in advance
Help please?

So I use "my row counter" it's an app for android... if my starting stitch is 15 now coz I couldn't use it before.... I've marked my rows how the 'count' should be counted and made red spots where the decreases would go per my spinning head.... is this right? The highlighted row is nothing.. it's on wrong line. It says 4 decreases.

I figured it out with some help. I decided f that and backed out. Left those ten stitches off pattern so my bor would be right and now my pattern has seem like body and is fine lol. Since the top section and bottom section are counted different and then a stitch moves with each decrease there was so much going on i couldn't wrap my head around it lol
Question about sleeves
Do you determine the laterally of the sleeve based on whether you’re wearing the garment, or based on when you’re looking at the garment?

I think she means which is right and left sleeve... do you determine that as if wearing it or looking at it. I would say as if wearing it... but these sleeves are confusing me also

@Deb Hall I applied 'if wearing' and the pattern lines up doing it this way..I get lost after that lol
Calling all the 2 project 'fools'
Hello to everyone making two projects, having been inspired by their yarn stashes to double the fun! My Jumper 1 is up to date, with the addition of a third mosaic knitting band at the bottom. There's more colourwork repeats because I'm using finer yarns and smaller needles. I'm waiting for the sleeves before finally settling on the bands, possibly a double colour if there's enough yarn. Jumper 2 is at the start of colourwork chart IV, with armholes divided just before the second texture section. It's going to require some careful blocking to improve the evenness of the yarns. I've got some black silk/merino fingering that I'll hold double to do the edgings. That should hopefully bring out the inky blue of cC. It's been quite a struggle to catch up with two projects after the problems and restarts on both at the beginning, and there have definitely been a few late nights and a lot of watching the Winter Olympics and cricket T20 World Cup. I'm a great fan of the curling and the Zimbabwe cricket team (who knocked Australia out!). How are all of you getting on? Please do check in, I know there's quite a lot of you, over 20, out there in knitty world!

I like them both with the second one being my favorite. I like those darker colors!
