I'm very happy because today I talked to my new Virtual Assistant! I have been looking for a while. My disability prevents me from taking on a lot of the routine tasks necessary to support a business. I'm so happy to be able to have the consistency I need to propel myself forward through consistent outbound marketing. Has anyone used a VA? Any tips?

I just heard a terrible story from a speaker that found out from a client that the speaker's bureau massively inflated their fee. The speaker that been told the bureau added on 30%. It ended up being double the speaker's rate. Of course they didn't offer the speaker any more. More and more I'm realizing how lucky I am that the one experience I've had so far with a bureau has been good! @Drew Brania and @David Corsini are right...operating outside that system really is a huge benefit for us in so many ways

Is it me or has the Inspiring Talks not started yet? Zoom is telling me we are waiting for the host to start the meeting? Can anyone else get in?

Does anyone know if the meeting today has been cancelled? I might not be looking in the right place for announcements and posts.
