Walk in the Past (from the pages of my first book)
Something different today for you, my speaker friend. Every day in my own Skool community, I post the day's entry from my first book, Honorary Indian Decolonized. Today's entry made me think of each of you, so I thought I would repost it here (along with the flashback video I shared with my followers). Enjoy! _________________________________________ We have all heard them. They tell us to live in the present, to plan for the future, but to NEVER ever live in the past. I agree wholeheartedly but sometimes, just sometimes, I think we need to go for a brief stroll through the doors of yesterday … It’s amazing how different the past looks when gazed upon with the knowledge and experience of today. Pain that threatened to destroy is but a memory in present day light. Joys that we wanted to last forever are now pleasant memories, and trials we thought insurmountable are … done. And look at US, my how we have changed! We wear our wisdom so well, like a well-cut suit, and the knowing smile of experience is so becoming. No, we are not as young, yet we have gained self-knowledge, and nothing is more attractive than that. Yes, a brief walk is good. Beware of the temptation to stay! For this was never meant to be. We belong in the present, planning for our future, but we should never hesitate to travel back, to once again review and learn from the past. Bonus content - a video of mine "from the past". Enjoy! (And for those who are wondering, the book is available on Amazon.) Love ya! Sandi

And So It Grows!
In my world, NOTHING is more exciting than being near 16 years in and STILL growing and learning, still PUMPED to get to my desk each morning, still AMAZED at how much I have grown! That is my reality and so much is thanks to the encouragement of this amazing group especially ... @David Corsini @Drew Brania @Angela Neufeld @Sandra Bothe @Kevin Marius @Sandra Valks @Barbara Hemphill and everyone else I have had the pleasure to cross paths with! All I am is because YOU are the good soil I get to grow in and I AM GROWING! How am I growing? - NEW Skool community (thanks to encouragement via Inspiring Talks on Wednesday). - NEW VIP level event option (thanks to Alex Hormozi saying "You don't increase price without increasing value and again, if they don't opt in, I lose NOTHING!). - A NEW FOCUS on the four sectors I have serviced for near 16 years. - AND MORE TO COME!! LOVE YOU ALL! HUGSSSSSSS Sandi

I smile as I start my day today, happy with all the changes that have transpired over my near 16 years in business. And the reason for the mindset - my day to day. I still do relatively the same things I always did - I answer emails, I do daily training of some sort, I have posts appear on social media. What has changed is HOW I do them and how efficiently they are done. Following up with past customers is easy now that I have my new CRM. The books are automated, linked to my bank account giving me up-to-date financials at a glance. My emails are automated and scheduled as are my social media posts. And all of that gives ME time to focus on my next event, to meet with people I may soon be working with, to enjoy my life! But I wouldn't have year 16 without year 1. So START, my friend. Quit assuming you can cut out pain or process or time. The pain IS your experience. The processes ARE your experience. The time you must put in … so worth it. And the sooner the start the sooner you accelerate your growth. Not from reading or research but by doing. So start, my friend. Start today because the sooner you start, the sooner you succeed! Love ya! Sandi
