First webinar!!!
I hosted my first webinar last night. 5 registrations. 2 attendees. One stayed for 20 minutes.( realised timing an issue for international attendees). And I'm writing this post anyway — because this is what building looks like. Here's what I learned: The session itself? Solid. I taught the FCP Method from scratch — Foundation, Conversion, Persuasion — and I genuinely believe it would have changed how those two people present, if they'd stayed. But the feedback I got was honest and useful: 'First webinar doesn't need to be this long.' They're right. I packed in everything I knew. Next time — one idea, taught well, in 30 minutes. This is the gap between knowing your subject and knowing your audience. I teach finance professionals how to bridge that exact gap. Turns out, I'm still learning it too. Cohort 1 still opens 8 April. If you want to learn the FCP Method with me — live, over 4 weeks — the door is open. DM me or find the details here: https://financeedgecohortgam.netlify.app #FinanceSpeakersEdge #BuildingInPublic #FCP #FinanceProfessionals #PublicSpeaking #Webinar

@Sandi Boucher hey Sandi had every intention of doing it, but I got hit with a bug today 🫠. Merry Christmas!!
2025 taught me ____. In 2026, I’m ready to _____.
The response to the win/moonshot thread was insane — thanks to everyone who jumped in. Time for part two. Complete this in one sentence: 2025 taught me ____. In 2026, I’m ready to _____. Example: 2025 taught me consistency beats intensity. In 2026, I’m ready to scale without burning out. Your turn — what's your? A big should to some of members who added their thoughts @Sandi Boucher @NtombikayiseM Hadebe @Sandra Valks @Dana S. Walk in the Past (from the pages of my first book)
Something different today for you, my speaker friend. Every day in my own Skool community, I post the day's entry from my first book, Honorary Indian Decolonized. Today's entry made me think of each of you, so I thought I would repost it here (along with the flashback video I shared with my followers). Enjoy! _________________________________________ We have all heard them. They tell us to live in the present, to plan for the future, but to NEVER ever live in the past. I agree wholeheartedly but sometimes, just sometimes, I think we need to go for a brief stroll through the doors of yesterday … It’s amazing how different the past looks when gazed upon with the knowledge and experience of today. Pain that threatened to destroy is but a memory in present day light. Joys that we wanted to last forever are now pleasant memories, and trials we thought insurmountable are … done. And look at US, my how we have changed! We wear our wisdom so well, like a well-cut suit, and the knowing smile of experience is so becoming. No, we are not as young, yet we have gained self-knowledge, and nothing is more attractive than that. Yes, a brief walk is good. Beware of the temptation to stay! For this was never meant to be. We belong in the present, planning for our future, but we should never hesitate to travel back, to once again review and learn from the past. Bonus content - a video of mine "from the past". Enjoy! (And for those who are wondering, the book is available on Amazon.) Love ya! Sandi
