So we’ve been having fun chilling out at home today. We have watched some television on the couch, we have pottered about the garden planting seeds, we even set up some Freework activities around the house. But my favourite activity today has been dog art class using lickable treats 👅 Later i’ll be giving the two girls a bath and then letting them air dry with a chew since it’s sunny today ☀️ It’s admittedly been good to keep occupied since it’s a week today Nala passed away… I had SO many plans for her today, and it has been really hard coming to the realisation she isn’t coming back… Let me know who is joining me tonight to share what they’ve got up to? 👇 #dontwalkyourdogday

For me, it’s all about nature trailing! 🌳 I’m very lucky that there’s a derelict, abandoned area of land just 2 minutes from me that has been taken over by nature providing my dogs with some enrichment while also helping to soothe my own emotional wellbeing. In Japan, this is known as ‘shinrin-yoku’ (forest bathing) and it involves signing off from civilisation and simply being present with the trees and forestry around you 🧘 It works! My dogs love it THAT much that they know the route and will literally drag me to it whenever they feel they need it (and the interesting thing is that it’s not every day). I just removed Facebook from my phone! Yay! I hated seeing horrible stuff and awful news articles etc. I wanted to leave for ages but couldn't because of my biz page. So I am posting for my business just using the business manager app and never have to go on there again if I don't want to. Just wanted to share my little win 🙂
