📢 HIB 553: Maximizing Last Reps and the CNS’ Effect 📢
Hey folks, new episode with Paradox Strength’s Janaya Skye on how the central nervous system can surprisingly influence and affect clients – trainers, too! – and the last few reps of a set. If you’ve ever gotten that niggling feeling that you’re not getting everything from a client despite how everything looks, that might have to do with the CNS. See why it happens, how to identify it, what you can do about it, and more — check it out here

Apologies about the late response, I am just catching up. Really loved this episode. Sincere thanks and appreciation to janaya for opening this doorway into what I think is physical psychotherapy. Everything here has resonated with me. I’ve studied integrated psychotherapy for 4 years, and recognised that I train hard to alleviate unconscious non verbal trauma. In other words life really. I’ve just finished the hit uni pt course, and merging psychotherapy through the physical and specific hit model is healing beyond physical. Loved the aspect of grounding, being balanced in oneself in order to not trigger clients into our own transferences. The trainee can use training as a safe space. Personally I don’t like talking in a psychotherapy environment, but I love to train hard and let the energy flow. You’re a pioneer Janaya, 👍👍

Really enjoyed this. Great to see a man in his 60s practicing what he preaches, and is visible proof of the workout longevity benefits. Also love Doug’s business model, word of mouth advertising. Profanity is hilarious, shows his honesty and passion. 👍

Hello, my name is Jerry, from Cork Southern Ireland. Thank u lawrence for inviting me here. I have been involved in martial arts training since I was 13 years old. I am now 48, and in the last 5 years or so , I came across Doug McGuff, Drew Baye, Jay Vincent. I absolutely love the training principals with HIT, and I have become so much more healthier following HIT protocols. Nearing my 5th decade, I’m being asked by friends and colleagues how I’m staying so fit and in shape. I say 30 mins full body workout every 4 or 5 days in my garage. Simple. The people that ask would never enter a gym. So, I am currently taking the HIT uni PT course to get qualified and of course learn !!. Just so ordinary scared to train people might just start !! So, it’s an open road 👍
