Shane’s Monday Group
Just got off. Extremely useful. Learned a bunch of new stuff. This week, he spent time demonstrating ALK and generated an AI webpage from the ALK information as we waited. I also learned what a CRM is along with adding two bookmarks for future use. Excellent waste of an hour. Check the calendar.

Shane's session was really helpful. I will try to visit it when I can.
The Author Launch Kit
Hi, I have just published The Inspiration Of Words Poetry Book 2 Dynamic Christian Poetry on Amazon. com. I am writing this little note, because l used the the author launch kit to help me write a description for the 2nd Mum E-Book and the book l am working on. I was very, very surprised at the results for the descriptions. I was given for my current book. I answered all the questions it posed me, because l did not just want just any description. I am happy to use this kit again and the thing is l have only just got started on with it because it can do so much.

THANK YOU to Our Leaders in JULY
Quick thank you to this community. Every time I pop in here, someone is answering a question, sharing what worked, or cheering on another author. That does not happen everywhere. It happens here because of you. Helen Keller said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much." That is this group. To celebrate those that are really in here all the time, we drew one name from our 30-day leaderboard. Congratulations, Rob Cole! You've won an AI Discoverability Audit plus a 20-minute call with the Book Launchers team to walk through your results and map your next steps. That call is not something you can buy anywhere. Keep showing up for each other. It matters. Now a special note because you will see in the video Roger actually wins .. but Roger is a client of ours and we are doing something like this for him already. That said, Roger if you want this exact thing, you can let us know too. Rob, to claim your prize just email @Angela Jones at [email protected] She needs a few details from you so we can complete your audit, and then we will get you scheduled to review the audit with someone on our team!! Congratulations, Rob, and thank you again to everyone who continues to make this such a helpful and supportive community.

Congratulations.
Check from distributor!
I had to share this with someone. Feeling discouraged, doing "all the things" and not getting results, this morning I found a check in the mail from my distributor for $1352.16 - and that's after all their fees. I have no idea where these sales came from - paperback and hardcover as the distributor does not do my ebook, but something must be working. I have renewed energy. Thanks for your support for my journey with "Art & Love: My Life Illuminated in Egg Tempera."

Your comment is an encouragement to me. I have not sold loads of books. But my books are selling. Every writer's journey is different. But having sales is still something to celebrate.
Life lesson
I just had a friend from high school (i'm almost 70) pass away. I knew Dave in high school, and he helped me on the baseball team, he was there when I needed him. He was Mr. 3 sports and excelled at them all. I also worked with his mom, a cashier at the local grocery store where I had my first real job. She was good and fast and if you could keep up with her, you were then considered accomplished at your task of bag boy! I met Dave later on when we both worked at the same company - I was his boss for a short while, but he was a friend and a colleague and there when we needed him. Then later on we shared spotlight in helping the 50th high school reunion committee get arrangements made, and we pulled off a reunion still being spoke about today. So why do I say all of this now, yes - I miss my friend Dave, but its more than that for he taught me a lesson and one that I have heard echoed here a time or two. That is - Show up, Be genuine and Add value. That is how I will choose to remember my friend Dave, and that is how we should all approach this business. May you all have a great evening!

No one can never take our memories away from us of those we know and hold dear. Those memories they are not washed away like the sand. They are God's way to remind us all we have a part of that person. Though we cannot see them anymore or hold their hands.
