Hyfi Curriculum question
Hello everyone, For those of you using Hyfi, I am currious to know if they change their curriculum every year or do the same? I am preparing for the fall and next years curriculum and would like to know if I have to switch. Thanks for any help!

I just attended a Hyfi talk yesterday so I wanted to update you all. So they take the same statements and reused them with different bible stories, questions, and videos, and discussions. Just for those of you thinking about switching curriculum or have the same question.

@Bobbi Gumness I my opinion the songs are true to the curriculum but are very slow and boring. Each age group has only one song. We play them as a preservice song. For worship we download song off of YouTube that are as close to true worship and the themes as we can get for each age group.

Curriculum Discussion
Hi! I would love to hear about the various curriculums people are using? We currently use Orange/Amazing Kids but we have gotten feedback from volunteers and families that they would like to see more scripture focused lessons. Which has me leaning towards The Gospel Project. Which then lead into Hiya, Paper Giants, The Park - and now my brain is overloaded lol! I do love all things curriculum and could discuss for hours!

We have used Orange and changed for that reason. We are now using Hyfi, which we love, it gives you 1 worship song which we use as a preservice song, it gives you bible story video, main idea video and a bible verse video which the kids all love. It has fun games that lean back to the bible story, it is cohesive across the bored and we have changed a few things. It prints kind of funny but they are working on fixing it. But it mainy made for digital use but can be printed, we do both. This year the theme is set around find who you are in Christ, and Discipleship. I can go into more details if you want to PM me if you want.
Promotion Sunday
I would love to hear what everyone is doing for promotion Sunday this year. Our Pastor has asked us to do something different than our usual and I am a bit stumped. In previous years we hand out coupons to everyone in our church going "back to school" - teachers and school staff included, and we have a Kona ice truck set up after church for their coupons to be used for a free snow cone.

We give each kid a book and have donuts in each class to celebrate and have a few extra games to play.
