Odd, maybe they changed this with AI Max. Are you running any AI Max? If so, do you have this option?
Did Google Neuter Regular Search with AI MAX?
I'm not seeing much info on AI Max. How are you all working with the brand exclusions, locations of interests, and URL inclusions now? Specially for low-budget accounts. Seems as if this latest move neutered the search a bit. New search campaigns without AI Max turned on won't have these options. Google's AI has the tendency to create garbage. Does anyone have any workarounds?

Pmax campiagn
Hi , When setting up a new Performance Max campaign, it's frustrating that all the headline and description fields are automatically populated. I have to delete them manually every time I want to input my own text. Is there any way to disable this auto-populate feature?

It's been a minute, but if you skip the step where it ask you for a website or a webpage it shouldn't populate headlines and descriptions.

@Moe Green Odd, I stated a new pmax and didn't use guidance or add a site and it didn't fill in anything.
Google Ads Scripts – Worth the Time?
Some swear by them, while others say they’re overcomplicated. Do you use scripts to automate your campaigns?

They are nice depending on the account. I think overcomplicated comes down to the users ability to work with scripts.
N.Clicks/Day
I am still learning Google Ads, and I see that some people say you need 10 clicks a day across all your keywords, and others say 10 clicks per keyword. Which one is right?

10 clicks across all your campaign keywords. Keep in mind that it's just a bare minimum suggestion for starting your optimizations, and getting the GOOG system enough to start working. Google Ads learns at the campaign level. It can also be used for defining budgets or CPC. You need some data to start to see what can or might not move the needle. The 10 click suggestion is just a good starting point to have a little information about your efforts. If you can provide more data quicker it can help your efforts.
