CSS partner
I have a Google Ads campaign that has been running for about two months, and I’m now considering adding a CSS partner. Will this reset the campaign’s learning phase, or will the existing learning remain? Could adding a CSS partner affect the campaign’s performance, optimization, or overall operation in any way? Or should everything continue as usual? Has anyone had experience with this?

Artjom — Christopher’s right that adding a CSS partner typically doesn’t reset campaign learning the way a big structural campaign rebuild does. What can move performance is auction/CPC dynamics and feed handling after the switch. Before/after I’d watch: - CPC, impression share, CTR, CVR, and blended profit (not just ROAS) - Merchant Center diagnostics: price, availability, shipping, duplicates - Whether conversion tracking and product IDs stay consistent through the handoff Also run the math on partner fees vs any CPC/visibility lift — benefits only count if contribution margin improves. If you switch, treat the first 1–2 weeks as a controlled comparison against your prior baseline rather than assuming everything continues exactly as usual.
How do you decide which products to pause in PMax?
Do you pause products only when they spend a significant amount without any sales, or also products that generate sales but have consistently low ROAS? What metrics and timeframe do you use to make this decision — spend without conversions, ROAS, CPA, margin, or a combination? And do you use the same thresholds for all products, or adjust them based on product price, margin, and conversion volume?

Artjom — Milica’s framework is solid. Before I pause a “bad” SKU I’d also separate offer problem vs Shopping input problem. Quick pre-pause checklist I use: - Feed: title, image, GTIN/identifiers, price/availability, custom labels — garbage inputs look like weak products in PMax. - Landing page: product-level CVR and bounce vs account average. If ads get clicks but the page converts poorly, fix the page/offer first. - Profit, not just ROAS: margin, refunds, shipping cost. A low-ROAS hero with high margin can still deserve a longer leash. - Variants: agree with judging high-spend zero-sale variants separately — but confirm the feed isn’t fragmenting the same product weirdly before you cut. Same idea as Milica on thresholds: scale “spend with no sale” to price/expected CPA, and give low-volume items more calendar time. I review weekly for bleeders, deeper every 4–6 weeks for zombies.
With a 2.86% add-to-cart rate, what would you fix first
Hi all — honest feedback appreciated. AU home & garden dropshipping store. 0.45% conversion. Where do I start? 3,742 sessions → 17 orders → AU$1,377 revenue. AOV AU$80. CR 0.45%. Funnel: only 2.86% add to cart. 74 reached checkout, 17 bought (23% completion). Ads: AU$1,200 on Google. CPC AU$0.47, ROAS 1.15. — losing ~$18 per sale. Now paused. Setup: 50 products (only 12 ever sold), 84% AU traffic, 78% mobile. Dropshipping from AliExpress. most products get exactly one sale and then go completely dead. My best product got 4 sales and then also stopped. Nothing builds momentum. Is this normal at low budget, or does it point to something specific — budget spread too thin, Google rotating impressions across too many products, or a feed/listing problem? With a 2.86% add-to-cart rate, what would you fix first — pricing, product pages, or trust? Is 50 products the killer? Cut to a niche or a single hero product? 77% abandon at checkout. Manual CPC wrong? Smart Bidding instead? I'm thinking of switching from AU to UK/US. My take: my problem is conversion, not market, so switching just moves a broken funnel somewhere pricier. Right or wrong? Anyone run both AU and UK?

I’d fix the funnel before country or bidding. 2.86% ATC with only 23% checkout completion usually means the leak is after intent, not “wrong market” yet. Rank fixes in this order: 1. Checkout friction — guest checkout, payment options AU expects, shipping clarity at cart, surprise fees. 2. PDP trust + offer — reviews placement, returns, shipping promise above the fold, one clear CTA. 3. Then ads — if site CVR is 0.45%, scaling spend just buys more of the same leak. Pricing matters, but I’d A/B it after you know checkout isn’t the bottleneck. Curious what % of sessions hit checkout vs bounce on shipping.
changing selling resets learning phase
hello team my supplier give me COGs after i make sales...i change my price after...does this price change resets the learning phase ?

Changing the selling price after you learn real COGs usually does not fully reset learning the way a big campaign restructure does. What it does change is conversion rate and ROAS math, so the algorithm may need a few days to settle on the new economics. I’d watch: keep the campaign structure stable, update price + feed, then give it enough conversions before you judge. If ROAS tanks after the price move, fix margin or creatives first — don’t rebuild the whole campaign unless you also changed targeting, bidding, or product set hard. — Jeff
Removing Company Information — Misrepresentation Risk
Can I remove my company name and company registration number from my store’s business information? Is it safe to do so, or could it cause a Misrepresentation issue?

I’d be careful removing company name / registration from business info. Google Merchant Center leans on that for trust and “misrepresentation” reviews. If the storefront, checkout, policies, and Google business details don’t match what’s on the legal entity, that’s when accounts get flagged. Safer path: keep legal business info accurate in Merchant Center and on the site (About / Contact / policies), and only hide what’s not required for shoppers if your lawyer says it’s fine for your country. Don’t strip it just to look leaner. — Jeff
