Worst house on the street - your advice please. I'm new.
Hi Everyone, I'm Jeff and I've very excitedly enrolled onto a future Property Wealth Bootcamp. We often hear the phrase "Buy the worst house on the street", well, I know where there is a worst house on the street, in complete need of an up-lift, although it's up for sale with an agent. The elderly person who lived there has died. Her two daughters want it sold and since it's been up for sale they have had very little interest because it's more of an investors project than a normal couple's looking for their first home. 3 bed one bath semi detached with garage and large garden. Both properties either side have expanded out from the kitchen. One property has also expanded out from the upstairs, adding another bedroom. Current agents price is £239.950. Comparrables. Same postcode. Sold 3 bed 1 bath 19 March 2025 £265,000 Sold 3 bed 1 bath 05 Feb 2025 £255,000 I'm thinking an offer of £200K or less depending on viewing and builders estimate. Current rents in the area for 3 bed 1 bath house is £1,300 - £1,400 per month. My challenge is I only registered on Saturday after the webinar and I don't have the money. I am in the process of re-mortgaging two of my properties and have the valuations on Monday 9th March but it's going to be weeks at least before I can pull out any funds. Please advise. Should I do nothing or do something? If so what? Jeff
