Calendar Updates!
Hey everyone! So we have an awesome calendar tab where we can see everyone’s upcoming races, but I want to make sure we have everyone on there since it’s been a bit since the last update. Please share below what upcoming races you have so we can add you to the calendar and make sure to cheer you on!!

I’ll be running the Tulsa Route 66 marathon on November 22nd and the Napa valley marathon on March 7th.
Question of the day!!
If you’ve already ran your first marathon, what’s a piece of advice you’d offer someone training for theirs? If you haven’t ran your first marathon, what’s the best piece of advice you’ve received so far? 👇👇👇

Forward is a pace! I was so concerned with finishing at a certain time because my AI trainer set me up to think that way. Once I turned that off in my head i was able to run through the city i grew up in and enjoyed the day a few minutes slower than AI told me should.
How can we support you?
Good morning everyone! Let's start the week out strong. What's one thing we can support you on this week? Whether its running or life, let's pick each other up!

I’m 5 weeks out from Tulsa Route 66 and this has been a rough block. I don’t think I’ve hit my mileage on my long runs in a few weeks. I have a slight drop back week this week hoping that will kickstart me for the last few long runs in the block.
Brand spankin' new Ask A Marathoner tab!
Hello friends! For this tab, I plan to collect all the qs and advice I've gotten on the show and compiling it here in a few different posts. Eventually, I would love to do a monthly call here where we can bounce ideas off of each other! Aside from that - please feel free to post any and every marathon question you have here. We have 15+ mentors in this group that would love to answer your questions, myself included! Judgement free zone :) Ask away!

Has anyone have any experience working with or dealing with stress/anxiety induced nausea ahead of long run or races? i’ve done some research i think it might be called sports induce anxiety.

@Emily Bailey I wish i had tips but it’s something i e dealt with for 15 years of triathlon racing. It’s just the last year that I’ve had this happen before training sessions
First Marathoner Survival Guide!
Hey everyone!! I've got a Wednesday mini episode coming out this week where I'm walking through my full survival guide for running your first marathon. It's essentially five things I wish someone had told me before my own first one, pulled from a hundred plus guest interviews and my own five marathons!! I know a lot of you are deep in fall training right now, so I wanted to give you early access before Wednesday. Attached is the guide with all five tips laid out. We're talking: fueling strategy, why your easy pace matters more than you think, and why the worst runs in your training block might actually be doing you a favor. Give it a read, and I'd love to hear which one hits home for you right now!!
