Sup guys, Really interested in what type of chalk is your favourite and why? If you use chalk at all? If it is necessary for you to use it and when you started using it (at what point). Also might be great to share the benefits for those who are not yet using it. Also vote in the poll what type of chalk is your fav. For me it was always like this: chalk block wins and only chalk block can be used for dynamics (when I used to do it), liquid at the start of the static or sets and reps training and I always hated the chalk dust 😆 it just got everywhere and didnt really helped much. I also got introducet to grip tapes recently and I am using it for all my front levers even put it on my metal p-bars, but just to make them thicker. I honestly cannot imagine a good workout without chalk, because my hands are getting really sweaty and the bar slips so hard. In this context it might be logical that I started using it when I was working for a muscle up where you need to have a false grip. So chalk lets you have better grip --> be safer, do more reps, have more unusual grip like false etc. and the smoke efect when clapping before combo is priceless. Negatives are drying and easily ripping your hands and having every black peace of clothing white 💀😂 PS: When I was a complete begginer, I baught a chalk that teachers use to write on the black board and smashed it into dust so I can use it as a regular chalk cause I didnt know the difference.... Disclaimer, no it did not work at all 😅 Viktors out! 🫡
