Iāve been working on the Steps in week 8 I just finished today and I started week 9. It was an eye opening experience going through the 7 Basic Emotions and answering those 11 questions for each emotion, trying to go back to when I was a child and figure out if I was āallowed to or had to hide fromā those emotions took a bit of time. It did allow me to release pain that I didnāt know I was still carrying. Thanks, John. Now I have to keep tissue nearby.āŗļø
Yeah, going through those questions to understand how you were taught about those 7 basic emotions helps you realize where a lot of communication issues come from...and pain that we still carry from those experiences. Glad you did the exercises
@Raq S Ok...so...it seems like you "fell off" with the dessert habit. The question is, how are you going to get back on track as soon as possible, while maintaining respect for yourself (aka, not beating yourself up with self-critical talk?) Also...how can you increase some of that water intake?
