Well lets make this less about me personally and lets talk about the overhaul on the Skool Events Weekly Bulletin. Prior to each weeks edition being circulated a preview will be available for you to view to make sure everything information wise is correct. If it is not then there is time for either you or for me to correct it. The guidelines are in the first classroom about what is needed when posting an event . I circulate the Weekly Bulletin on Sundays , New Zealand time. I plan to have the preview posted in the feed on Saturday, New Zealand time. It will be your responsibility to check it, there wont be any chasing. If you don't have the time to correct it after stating something is wrong then it will be removed from the Weekly Bulletin. Also please be aware of using any form of AI. It may be a quick and easy way for you to create something but can also cause a lot more work for others. Please do your homework to see if this will transfer correctly in the AI format to Canva PDF. I strongly recommend from personal experience, not to send me anything in AI PDF format. AI uses different text types and has many layers both of which Canva PDF can not pick up or translate as you expect it would like in your original AI version. So anything created by AI send to me in JPEG or PNG, having made sure first it is compatible. I am hoping soon to change this PDF to a Flip book for a more professional presentation, again it will still be down to you to do the homework to make sure anything AI will be compatible. You will also start noticing that there will be expert tips about events showing up in the weekly bulletin as well. These tips will have a link for you to connect through to the expert, literally just click on the pic. Currently the Skool Events Daily Experts are hand picked. There will come a time when you can apply, just to give you a heads up.

I have to admit that I was oblivious to the idea of doing events with other communities until @Jason Hagelberg & @Lara Sloan introduced me to the idea. Then I connected with @Des Dreckett, who I think is the absolute master at this. Following their advice I reached out and did some events with a number of communities. -I should count it up, but it was events with around 6-10 communities. Did I make mistakes? YES! Quite a few. I didn't organise as well as I could. I failed to promote properly. I wasn't aware of Skool Events Daily in the beginning, but I failed to use it as much as I should have, after Des introduced me to the community. The content of my presentations were good, the strategy was untested, and can probably be improved. But despite my inexperience and numerous flaws 😉, I managed to grow the membership of my free community by 122 members in the last 30 days. (See graph). I will be taking a breath next week, checking what worked and what didn't and making a better plan to execute over the next 60 days. But I wanted to share here that events work. This is a new event we’re going to be doing here in Skool Events Daily. First, a quick reminder about the timing. I’ve put every other Wednesday on the poster. Now, that’s Wednesday for me here in New Zealand. Depending on where you are in the world, it may actually be every other Tuesday for you. So please check the calendar for your correct time. And apologies — I can’t quite accommodate the entire world with the time I’ve chosen 😂 We’re starting at 11am New Zealand time, but if this looks like it’s going to be a winner, I’ll look at changing the times up so more people get a chance to attend. But there’s one thing I really want to make clear… This is for YOU guys. It isn’t for me. I enjoy doing these. I loved doing them in my last community. We had a lot of fun, people connected, and things actually happened as a result of those connections. And that’s what I want to create here. I want to bring you all a little bit closer. I want to help you find your people. And I want people to get to know YOU a little bit more, because once people know you, they’re far more likely to come along to your events.
