Arrgh! I had put it in my Google calendar after working it out manually, and I forgot about NZ Daylight Savings. So the masterclass is at 11 local, same time as Coffee and Chat. Sorry @Heather Wilson see you next time.

The Secret Is Out… You Have 48 Hours to Grab VIP at $9 — We’re on the WWW! 🌎
Okay people… it’s time. I promised you an announcement, Des has given me the green light, and I have been BURSTING to show you what we’ve been building behind the scenes. 🥁🥁🥁 SKOOL EVENTS DAILY IS OFFICIALLY ONLINE! 🎉 Yep. We’ve gone and got ourselves a proper website. And I have to say… it’s looking rather fabulous. 😍 We’ve just massively upgraded what VIP gets you — and you’ve got 48 hours to get it at the old price. Your events are already there, and people can now find them by Today, This Week, Upcoming Events, category and even by host. We’ve brought over From Heather’s Desk, Experts Corner, Editor’s Picks, our Partners, and we’ve got more coming too — including our Collaboration Station. 👉 LINK TO THE NEW SKOOL EVENTS DAILY WEBSITE HERE And possibly one of my favourite bits… NO MORE FORMS! 🙌 VIP members can use the Magic Button to send us their event straight from their calendar. I press a few of my own magic buttons at this end and — hey presto — your event appears on the website. People can click into your event, find out more and go straight through to join or register. Now, here comes the important bit… ⏰ YOU HAVE 48 HOURS. VIP is currently $9 a month. In 48 hours, it goes up to $12 a month. And yes… at some point it may well go up again. So if you’ve been sitting on the fence wondering whether to become a VIP, I’d suggest the fence is becoming a rather expensive place to sit. 😂 👉 UPGRADE TO VIP HERE Only VIP members can submit and promote their events through Skool Events Daily. BUT the website itself is open for everyone to browse, discover events and attend them. Which means your events are no longer just sitting inside our community or tucked away in the Weekly Bulletin. We now have another way of getting them seen, found and shared much further afield. We’re still polishing things, tweaking things and probably pressing the occasional button we shouldn’t 😂 — but it’s live, it’s working and your events are already there.

Tomorrow: Structure Your Talk for Impact
This is happening tomorrow, hosted by @Vasi Smith in the Thrive Community. I hope to see you there! You can join here ========================================== A Masterclass with Speaking Coach Chris Hanlon If you want your talk to be accessible and memorable, you need to put some time into how you structure it. In this Speak Well chat, Chris will talk about the processes, tools and resources he uses for structuring talks. September 29, 4pm MT/6pm Eastern Chris has coached over 100 TEDx speakers over the past decade. First for TEDxRuakura and more recently for TEDxUoWaikato, where 20% of the speakers have been chosen for TED's Editors Choice, something that is allocated to just 6% of the speakers that speak at TEDx events around the world. In addition to TEDx, Chris has also helped numerous speakers and business owners (and even one politician) with their presentations and talks. He has also helped over 50 startup founders to craft and deliver their investment pitches through a local startup accelerator.

@Heather Wilson I put this in the latest week showing but it needs to be the following week (category).
🚨 WELL… THIS WEEK GOT A BIT BUSY 😂
I opened this coming week’s Skool Events Weekly and thought, Blimey, we’ve got a lot going on. We’ve got workshops, networking, collaborations, book planning, money blocks, parenting, health, magick, natural perfume, 80s and 90s nostalgia… and a free concert for world peace. I mean, what more do you people want? 😂 And if you run events yourself, don’t skip Experts Corner this week. TEDx organiser Chris Hanlon is sharing some brilliant advice on curating a multi-speaker event, including something I think gets overlooked far too often: your speakers shouldn’t just be individually good, they need to work together to create the journey of the event. Plus, I’ve picked three events that caught my eye, we’re having a nosey around The Skool Classifieds, and there may even be a certain English woman drinking coffee and talking about collaboration somewhere in there. ☕👀 But of course I have had to change the time....see previous post for confessions. So go and have a rummage. You might find an event you love, a person you need to meet, or an idea you didn’t know you needed until five minutes ago. 👇 THIS WEEK’S EVENTS ARE HERE Click on the PDF, then click on Skool events daily and our flip book will magically appear. And yes… if you’ve got an event coming up and you’re VIP, get the blooming thing registered. I can’t promote an event I don’t know exists. 😂 More Events. More People. More Opportunities.
