Recently recovered from an ATFL ligament tear and ankle sprain. Slowly getting back into things. This was filmed after a long practice but I am looking for technical cues with my standing throw that might help me improve both short and long term.

You’re driving your legs great! Try and hold the disc a bit higher so you can use your pecs which are the bigger muscles, holding that low uses more delts, the pecs are the big movers !

long jump tips
so I was jumping today and I finally hit the board, admittedly there was extreme wind (I think like -11 it was really bad) but I just want to know how’s my form and what else should I do.

There were 2 big things I saw 1. No penultimate step(crucial for setting you up to jump) 2. Missed the reach or toe touch before hitting the sand(free distance Your run speed was great and attacked the board really well Try and: 1. Stay tall down the run way, like a bouncy high knee sprint, a bit different then regular sprints, makes it easier to set up the jump 2. Really reach like your doing a toe touch in the air which will help the landing
Fly Times
I recently ran a freelap electronic 10Fly (30m run in) of 0.97 indoors When trying to improve a 20 Fly, is there a maximum amount of reps one should do in a session or can you for as many until the efforts start to slow?

If you have a timing device, I like to have a volume range to work in. Then go off times at that point. For 10-20m flys 200-400m is the volume range. I know it’s a big range that’s where a timing device can help A LOT
