A Question: What kind of person are you being this year?
"Last Friday was National Quitters Day. The point in January when a lot of New Year’s resolutions quietly fall apart. I don’t think most people quit because they lack discipline. I think they quit because they try to optimize before something is actually installed. 🧠 A reminder I’ve been sitting with: You can’t optimize a habit that doesn’t exist yet. We want the clean system. The perfect routine. The most efficient version. But we’re often trying to refine something that hasn’t become normal yet. I see this pattern a lot. And I catch myself in it too. ✅ Habits that feel solid and embodied for me right now: 🟢 Morning routine 🟢 Meditation 🟢 Working out 🟢 Morning time with my wife These don’t require much effort anymore. They’re just part of my day. 🛠️ Habits I’m actively installing right now: Not improving. Not streamlining. Installing. 🟡 Morning and evening Skool check ins One for presence One for intentional outreach 🟡 A simple weekly posting rhythm Repeatable Almost boring on purpose 🟡 A layered planning approach Rough draft at the start of the quarter Second pass the month before Final adjustments during the month With room for real life to shape things What’s been humbling is how often I want to optimize these too early. Templates. Tools. Timing tweaks. All useful. Just not yet. 🚶 Last week was a good reminder that momentum matters more than precision. Movement installs habits. Refinement comes later. Once something is in motion, optimization helps. Before that, it often just slows things down. 🪞There’s also an identity layer here that feels important. Habits tend to stick when they match who we believe we are becoming. Not because we force them. But because they feel natural to maintain. If you want to share: What’s one habit you’ve been trying to improve before it’s actually installed? Or said another way: What kind of person are you practicing being this year?"

Intro and Fun Fact - What's Your Fun Fact?
Hey everyone, I’m Jason — a Soul-Aligned Business Coach who helps transformational entrepreneurs build businesses that actually feel like them (not like a clone of the last program they took). I’m here because I believe alignment should come before strategy — and because I’m endlessly fascinated by how AI can amplify authenticity rather than replace it. Fun fact: My kids think “coaching calls” are just code for talking passionately with hand gestures.😂 Looking forward to connecting, learning from everyone here, and exploring how we can make tech feel more human again.

What's One Thing You Wish To Share With Others About AI?
Most of us are here in order to gain more insights around AI for ourselves. Knowing that, what's one thing (whether you already know if or want to learn it) that you would want to share with others around AI?

@Christina Hampsey Quite true! That's a really good reminder.

@Heather Sanders Great point and I think many are concerned about the same. Most of the AI interfaces have settings to choose the privacy level you want (to allow it to 'train' on your information or not). So always check that out in your profile settings once you're logged in.
Day 1 Takeaways - Complete Rundown
🌍 Where We Are & Where We’re Going - We are living in the perfect time to create, not just consume. - The age of “time billionaires” — those who use AI to buy back their time. - Breathe, let go, and recognize you’re in the right place at the right time. - AI isn’t replacing humans — it’s enhancing and multiplying human presence. 🧭 How to Prepare - Anchor yourself in mission, vision, and values. - Learn how to learn — follow curiosity, not just economics. - Study what excites you, not just what pays more. - Adopt the six core human skills: - Adaptability - Curiosity - Optimism (look for good news and share it) - Creativity - Self-awareness - Emotional regulation 🤖 AI Application Insights - Expect deeper integration: AI will disappear from screens and embed into everything. - Tools like Claude and ChatGPT can act as strategic partners, not just assistants. - Use AI for deep research, data organization, and pattern recognition. - AI-first businesses thrive by combining automation with authenticity. - Remember: AI doesn’t replace you — it enhances your impact. 💡 Mindset Shifts - “This is the greatest time in history to start a company.” - Don’t underestimate this moment — it’s a once-in-a-generation opportunity. - Shift from being a manager of circumstances to a creator of life. - Ask yourself: - What do I want out of life? - What do I want to create — for myself, my family, and my community? - Compound your impact through relationships — with family, friends, and collaborators. ⚡ The 5 Qualities of a Creator 1. What's your biggest take away?
Looking to connect with coaches
Hey, any other coaches out there? First of, congrats for taking steps to continue to learn more and about AI in particular. How can we use AI to connect more instead of disconnect? Coaching can often be a solitary business so I've always found it so helpful to connect with other coaches. I'm part of a community of coaches that continues to support each other, share ideas, insights, and continue to show up. Let me know your thoughts and ideas on how to connect more rather than disconnect.
