Overwhelm 😵‍💫
Just a random reminder to beware the negative effects of how you handle being overwhelmed.🌱 Parents feel it but kids feel it too. 🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙃 We all know that, just don’t forget to act on it. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 🎮Every chance you get choose regulation and self control over reaction and controlling the situation. 🏆 ⭐️I promise you, team work is better than dictatorship. 🫶🏻👾 (Image made with ChatGPT. I totally agree. When I feel overwhelmed, I usually stop, slow things down, walk away for a bit, take a breath, then come back when I’m ready to start again. And when my kids are overwhelmed, I give them some space and try not to talk to them until they’ve had a chance to calm down.

Free Live Breathwork Workshop – Saturday March 28th
Monday Mindfulness 🧘🏻‍♀️
I know I was talking about themes and then got side tracked. 🪿 But here we go with a fresh start 😅🤸🏻‍♀️🌱 ☯️Today’s theme for Oddysey is mindfulness. Being more aware and present in the moment. Practicing breathwork and meditation. That kind of stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️ Since I actually got up on time (before my alarm so even better) I was able to take time breath in the morning air and listen to the birds waking up. It’s that simple to grab some mindful time. Just a few seconds can easily slip into 5 minutes into 10 minutes without a fire to put out. If you find yourself in one of your calmer environments in the day, like when everyone’s asleep 😅, take the time to just be. If you need a focus, follow the feeling of air going in your nose down into your lungs. That’s actually a meditation but it’s super simple and takes 10 seconds to start seeing results 🧘🏻‍♀️☯️✨

Love this post. Seriously, everything about this 🙌 I love that you’re actually taking the time to slow down and be intentional with it. That simple awareness, just being present for a few minutes, can have such a massive impact over time. This stuff has honestly been one of the biggest shifts in my own life too, and I really do believe everyone could benefit from it in some way. Also, because you’re already guiding your community in this direction, if you ever wanted to, feel free to invite them to join us for the breathwork workshop on Saturday.
