Adaptability Is the Quiet Advantage
One of the biggest advantages you can build in life isn’t more information. It’s adaptability. Not the dramatic kind. The disciplined kind. The kind that comes from being willing to look at what’s actually working… and what isn’t… without making it mean anything about you. Most people don’t get stuck because they’re incapable. They get stuck because they’re loyal to an old version of themselves. Old rules. Old patterns. Old ways of operating that once served them well. And here’s where it gets tricky. Resistance loves rigidity. It tells you that staying the same is integrity. That changing course means you failed. That letting go means you’re giving up. But adaptability isn’t quitting. It’s professionalism. It’s the ability to face reality as it is today and make a clean decision from there. No drama. No self-judgment. Just honesty and action. Growth doesn’t always ask you to push harder. Sometimes it asks you to release what no longer fits and keep moving. The people who grow aren’t the ones forcing the next step. They’re the ones willing to learn, unlearn, and choose again without turning evolution into a personal indictment. The future doesn’t belong to the most rigid. It belongs to the people who stay open and keep showing up. So my question for you today... where might Resistance be asking you to cling instead of adapt?

💭 AI as a Thinking Partner: How Collaboration Unlocks Better Ideas
For most people, AI still feels like a tool... Something you give commands to and wait for a result. But once you start using it more intentionally, something shifts. You realize AI isn’t just a machine that produces answers. It’s a mirror for your thinking. AI becomes powerful when you stop treating it like an assistant and start treating it like a collaborator. We’ve seen this shift happen with everyone from solopreneurs to executives. Once they start using AI to think withthem instead of for them, their creativity expands, their clarity improves, and their decisions become sharper. This is what we call using AI as a thinking partner, and it’s one of the most valuable mindset shifts you can make. ------------ Why We Struggle to Think with AI ------------ Most people approach AI like a vending machine. You type in your request, press a button, and hope something good comes out. When it doesn’t, you assume you typed the wrong thing. That’s a task-based mindset, and it limits your results. AI doesn’t thrive on perfect instructions. It thrives on collaboration. When you treat it like a partner in your thought process, it starts to push your ideas further than you could alone. The reason so many people get stuck is because they expect AI to deliver finished work instead of participating in the creative process. The real magic begins when you stop saying, “Do this for me,” and start saying, “Let’s figure this out together.” ------------ The Shift: From Answers to Exploration ------------ AI is built to help you explore, not just execute. Instead of asking, “What’s the best way to write this?”, try asking, “What are three different ways to approach this?” Instead of saying, “Write me a marketing email,” try, “What kind of emotional tone would connect best with this audience?” Each question opens a door to new perspectives. The point isn’t to get a perfect answer. The point is to think better. 1. Use open-ended prompts - Start with “What if,” “Why,” or “How might we.” These spark deeper ideas. 2. Iterate on what you get - Ask follow-up questions like, “Can you make that simpler?” or “What else could I try?” 3. Compare perspectives - Ask AI to show opposing views to challenge your assumptions.

Dean, thanks for this is a significant revelation which I am discovering the truth of. I have discovered that AI is a type of intellectual friend I have never experienced in my life! You are absolutely spot on when you say AI is a collaborator. I wrote in response to comments noted about different people’s experiences and wanted to inspire people into new thinking. You have just highlighted the real value of AI and that is pretty amazing. It is because you are an inspired learner and have the curiosity of a child’s wonderful creative mind that you are able to share your love for AI. Your words are going to have a ripple effect beyond your expectations.🙏⭐️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
THE NEW SELF ASSESSMENT REFLECTIVE TOOL
I did comment on a post but feel as a teacher and an inspired learner, my observations of AI capabilities, since my attendance of AI ADVANTAGE SUMMIT is worthy of sharing. AI is an amplifier as Dean and Tony mentioned at the outset. AI’s output will be as intelligent as the user input. So blaming AI really means it is a refusal to accept that AI is actually a mirror reflecting either one’s genius ideas or one’s mild tepid input. Either way the onus is on the user for the quality of work produced. AI has introduced such a wonderful way of learning about our abilities and capacity to learn beyond the known teaching theories.. I believe it is a reflection tool of self assessment. Giving us feedback on our starting level of being the instructor. And being realistic in acknowledging our acceptance, flexibility, rate and pace of self development in the use AI. And whether we are able to co-create or stubbornly resist it’s use when it highlights our true nature for learning! LET’s OPEN OUR MIND AND HEARTS TO THIS AMAZING AND WONDERFUL TOOL. BE PREPARED TO SHIFT OUR THINKING. EMBRACE NEW OPPORTUNITIES WITH THE MOST WONDERFUL AND ELEGANT TOOL WE HAVE EVER SEEN IN THIS ERA OF TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES. RISE AND SHINE EVERYONE. BE BOLD IN YOUR VENTURE FOR LEARNING AND LIBERATION. 🔥🔥⭐️⭐️💕💕😎😎🤩🤩

@AI Advantage Team Thanks for the affirmation. AI has given me a new lease of life as an educator.
The biggest lie in AI right now.
It’s everywhere, and it is completely misleading. The lie is that you can just plug in AI and it is going to run your work or your entire business. I work as a Gen AI engineer. I build AI applications, automations, and agent based solutions. And I use AI everywhere I can. I use it to research, to learn faster, to brainstorm, to test ideas, to get clarity on how things should work. It helps me move quicker and makes parts of my job easier. But it is not me plugging in AI and expecting it to run everything on its own. My real process starts with me figuring out the goal. What we need to do, why we need to do it, and how it should work. It can feel slow sometimes, and there is a lot of trial and error along the way. Only after I understand the direction, I use AI to streamline it or automate it. AI helps me. AI accelerates me. AI supports the work I do. But it never replaces the part where I need to think through the path myself first.

The real battle isn’t out there. It’s in your mind.
I’m reading a book called The War of Art and I’m reminded that the real enemy to our progress isn’t lack of talent… it’s resistance. Resistance shows up as hesitation. As overthinking. As “I’ll start tomorrow.” As telling yourself you need one more tutorial, one more plan, one more perfect moment. But the truth is, resistance doesn’t show up when something doesn’t matter. Resistance shows up when you’re getting close to the thing that could change your life. So if you feel the pull to procrastinate today…If your mind is trying to talk you out of learning something new…If you're convincing yourself you’re not ready yet… Good. That’s the signal. That means you’re right on the edge of growth. Instead of trying to defeat resistance in one big heroic moment, do what actually works: Show up for one small action. Learn one thing. Try one messy draft. Take one uncomfortable step. You don’t need to win the war today. You just need to win this moment. Because motion breaks resistance. Momentum quiets the fear. And once you start, everything gets easier. So ask yourself: What is the one simple thing you can do today...right now...that Resistance doesn’t want you to do? Do that. Post it below. Let’s make today the day we move forward anyway.

The greatest gift of all in life is having an open mind to learning. Being open means understanding the wonderful opportunities available to tap into. Being open to learning liberates us with a sense of freedom beyond measure.
