First fire
It fired. Stoked! Solid 50psi oil pressure at idle. Fuel pressure seemed a bit low but I'll monitor it. The car has been sitting for about six months. I've owned this car for 27 years. Next up will be getting it painted and working through some wiring gremlins. Thank you again for the help and positivity here. Best group of guys. No BS and you guys know your stuff. I didn't post much but I'll miss this place.

2006 Sierra 2650 Magnuson install and 8HP swap!!
Finally got the engine and transmission in, the 8HP70 fits perfect with zero trimming required. Ended up having to use a 4L80e crossmember with the tab flipped around to bolt it in. Now for the wiring!

I want to use the low, forward, right side AC compressor mount in tandem with the low left side alternator mount and no power steering. Is that as straightforward as is sounds or are the idlers and tension going to be a problem?

@John Mobley since the 551137-LS76-3 relies on an alternator being mounted above it on the cylinder head, I would not recommend that exact bracket. Instead look into the 551137-LS74-3. Since it uses the 4 rib belt spacing, the placement is very similar, but not reliant on other accessories. for the alternator, the 551887-3 kit would work, but may be a little difficult with belt routing without power steering. instead look into the 551668-3 kit paired with the 551550 belt and idler kit. These two parts in conjunction with a factory tensioner will work perfectly together.
