Petals of Beauty is now in the Classroom
My goal is to have several options for everyone! Don't become overwhelmed as the classroom grows. Imagine it's a buffet, you take what you like and leave the rest...

It’s beautiful! Thanks.
ANNOUNCEMENT
The live meet and greet session scheduled for January 18th will have to be postponed. I'm still trying to get over the flu bug and my voice is all croaky. I'll reschedule a new time and add it to the calendar.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with flu issues - a lot to deal with - glad it’s on the downward side. I am looking forward to the call whenever you reschedule.
The Destash Station Is Open
I'm opening a Destash Station here in the Cozy Makers Club. This is a space for passing along supplies that are ready for new hands—fabric, paper, thread, notions, and other well-loved creative materials. If you have items to offer, please read the destash guidelines post in our Classroom. This is a member-to-member exchange, rooted in generosity, clarity, and care. Let your supplies keep telling stories 🤍

@Mary Kay it Is a great idea!
Using Rescued Home Decor Fabric Samples
I love it when I can find a Fabric sample book. My husband takes it apart for me, and I end up with lots of fabric swatches/samples of all sizes, textures, etc.

@Lynda Coker I was going to ask you about whether to just cut it off - I didn't read the backing before I started tearing off but am afraid to wash it. After sitting on my bench for over a month, hehe, thought to just cut off the paper and put them up! Thanks!

@Angela George I appreciate your tale of washing them in the washer - saved me soooo many brain cells!!!! I’m going to cut the papered part off and then put that into a bowl! Thanks so much for sharing ❤️
Fabric Bowl
This was the first time I made a fabric bowl. This bowl makes me happy every time I drop a snippet of fabric in it. When I look at the bowl of snippets I know another project will be on the way. The bowl is reversable and any fabric bits work to make one.

@Maree Rogers I think I’d be reversing them every day - so many beautiful fabrics on each side - I love the faces on the pink/white one!!!!
