It means this is a great community ;)
My Guiding Light for 2026
At the beginning of 2025, I decided to set a word for the year: Leadership. My intention was to better understand what it meant to be a leader and how to lead. Throughout the year, this showed up in many ways: - I started this community, - I began leading more and bigger events - I coached over a dozen entrepreneurs My favorite way I showed up as a leader? For my inner child. The little boy who was lost and needed someone to guide the way. I attached the photo I had as my phone background for most of the year… a photo to remind me who I was talking to whenever I was being mean to myself inside my own head. And who wanted to come out to play! It was such a beautiful year. Setting this word as my intention really shaped my decisions and thoughts, which shaped my outcomes. I still have a lot to learn about leadership. It will be something I continue to study. But 2026? At first, I thought my word was going to be ā€œloveā€. I have a strong desire to deepen into love. But something was missing there… And during a loving kindness meditation today, it hit me: ā€œPresenceā€ A single word wasn’t cutting it. I needed a phrase! And so, my phrase of 2026 is Loving Presence. I have many goals; financial, mental, physical, relational, spiritual. But regardless of the category of the goal, my intention is to move towards it with loving presence. That is to say, being present with myself and with others, with love. With kindness. (Especially towards myself! I’m good at doing this with others, but can use some extra awareness towards myself.) This does not mean I can’t be direct or blunt. It means that I will, to the best of my ability, come back to loving presence as often as possible. I’m excited for the year to come… I’d love to hear from you. What is your word, phrase, or guiding light for 2026?

I think the biggest thing for me recently was the realisation that I have authism and ADHD, it just cleared so much of my past, the way I function, the way I relate to others. That is why I would invite more of CLARITY to my life. Clarity regarding how to organise my work, my life, show up in relationships, be true to myself and not bend myself to to breaking point. Clarity on when to say yes and when to say no. Clarity on how to life a life of purpose, a life that includes joy, love, connection. My word for 2026 is Clarity. If I could add more, your loving presence also resonates strongly!
It’s December, My Dudes
You know what that means - Christmas is a comin, and 2025 is quickly coming to an end! What is everyone’s plan to finish the year strong and set up for a powerful 2026?

Plans for the rest of the year: get properly diagnosed (get the right meds and hormonal therapy), reflect, reorganise, rethink my priorities. Unmask to the people who are close to me: my partner, parents, my one friend. Reorganise my life/environment/the way I work in a way that supports me. Refocus my efforts into direction that feels more meaningful. Than I plan to do this regularly, and each day be more authentic, be more confident, and live a meaningful life. Well, at least consistently with reminders ;)
An Invitation
I invite you to be with yourself today. When was the last time you sat with yourself? Accepted yourself exactly as you are, without needing to change anything? Flaws and all? Today, I am focused on being present with myself with whatever comes up. And loving it just as it is. I invite you to do the same. šŸ’™

What a great invitation and at the right time. I am accepting I have had autistic and ahdh traits all my life and now that I know its changing how I see myself, my whole life, it is all quite an emotional time for me. I'm taking time for things to sink in, accepting myself, the life as it was until now and getting properly diagnosed after 47 years.

Where my nerds at?! Err, I mean, my sophisticated scholars 🧐 Next Sunday (Dec. 7th), @Sebastian Schroeder and @Reema Rana are hosting Focus Founder's first-ever virtual BOOK CLUB! šŸ‘‰ Check it out on the calendar here. We'll be reading "Letting Go: The Pathway to Surrender" by David R. Hawkins. Letting Go is especially relevant for people with ADHD because it teaches a simple but powerful skill: stopping the internal fight. Many people with ADHD live in a state of constant self-resistance, pushing against overwhelm, shame, frustration, distraction, and ā€œnot enoughā€ feelings. Hawkins’ approach helps readers learn how to notice emotions without suppressing, reacting to, or judging them, which can reduce emotional spirals, burnout, and decision paralysis. For ADHD minds that feel overstimulated and emotionally intense, the practice of surrendering resistance can create more calm, clarity, and self-compassion—making it easier to focus, reset, and move forward without getting stuck in mental loops. Will you be there?!
