Happy "Blue" Monday! Wearing a top favorite for "Blue" Monday, my Erebus Ascent 39mm Automatic with the gorgeous and ever-changing Blue MOP Dial. This is one that gives my left arm and wrist a lot of exercise when I wear it, always twisting and turning to catch the beautiful color display with the MOP dial in changing light angles. So nice! Some of my watches (looking at you Snoopy!) have a way of giving an uplifting feeling and simply making me "happy" when I wear them. This is clearly one! Best wishes for a Marvelous "Blue" Monday! 😀

Happy Superhero Sunday! My plan for today was to wear a different Snoopy, but after opening the box this one jumped out at me as another possibly suited to Autumn. Like yesterday's Militado, my impression of this one was always as summer watch with the colors behind Snoopy. But with the oranges and yellows, think this can also be a a perfect Autumn watch now, as well. So, here is my Timex X Peanuts Snoopy Expedition 40mm Acadia watch today. And as with all of my Timex Expedition pieces, I love the arrow second hand. A small detail, but that is frequently what we can tend to focus on with our individual pieces, isn't it? Happy White Dial Wednesday! Couldn't resist the call of this one today, my new-this-month Timex & Fender collaboration for Fender Guitars' 80th Anniversary, the gorgeous 38mm white MOP dial ode to the Fender Stratocaster, reminiscent of the iconic Fender Pearloid pickguards. It even a customized Stratocaster headstock second hand to go with the customized crown modeled after a guitar tone knob. Pretty cool. Happy Tool Watch Tuesday! There is a certain magic about the Casio G-Shock Model GWM5610. You take it out of the box where it has been slumbering in the dark for a few weeks. When fully charged, the GWM 5610 can run for about 10 months in complete darkness with power saving mode turned on. So with my post from last night regarding my new purchase, today was day 1 of the requisite 3 day new watch wearing. Man, at 35mm this little baby just wears bigger than I expected. The 12 mm hight is accentuated by the around 2mm of domes crystal, and because of the afore mentioned size it look thick from the sides. An Italian Cordova Dark Brown leather strap with a butterfly clasp, that feels amazing in wrist, just sets this beauty off. What really tipped me over the end for the 007 was, The KUOE Kyoto Old Smith 90-007 with a brown (dark bronze/sunray brown) dial is an in-person, exclusive limited edition available only at the brand's flagship boutique in Kyoto, Japan. I mean you can't even see it in any of the online store pictures.
