Help with Laziness Be Raw šŸ™šŸ½šŸ«‚šŸŒŠšŸ¤”
Laziness has been a battle like the cold has been a battle for me. But I want to tap in with my fellow poetry business owners and soon to be owners and ask what do you do when you are feeling not so enthuasitic ? Like what helps you to combat laziness when it tries to spew on your day?

I know this feeling well, and it's been gnawing at me for months now. Everyone here gave some great advice. I wish I had something to add, but I don't. Just know you're not alone!
Back in the Saddle Again?
Hi everyone! How have you all been doing? Things are going okay on this end. I left here and Instagram/Threads etc about 3 months ago to the day, but I'm slowly working myself back into the system. I just needed some time away from SM to clear my head and figure out my direction in life. I haven't quite done that yet, but I HAVE figured out what directions not to take, so I think that's a major step right there. I'm kind of looking at maybe doing YT and doing a cinematography kind of approach to poetry. I've realized I'm never going to stand up in front of people and recite the things I've written. The strokes in the past have just messed up the brain to much to memorize. But that's okay! I do know how I see things in my mind, and if I take the time, I can bring them out with photographs and videos maybe. So my thinking is to maybe try to bring them out that way. I had a cool idea for a poem I wrote about an old car. "I was with you when you were crying, and your parents were so careful strapping you in and bringing you home. Careful with the bumps! Not too fast..." It's from the view point of a car, from birth, to learning to drive, to the first love, working, starting a family, and all the way to dying, "I was there with you." I thought maybe I could walk around a salvage yard and video walking around as I recite the poem and showing all the old cars wrecked and piled up on top of each other. Kind of bring image to the poem as it is recited. What do y'all think about that? I then thought about placing those kinds of videos on YT and just seeing where it goes from there. But one thing is for sure, I'm am feeling more creative than ever! Anyway, it feels good to be back and can't wait to get going again. Hope you have all been doing well! I think I'm ready to get back in the game now. :)

Heading there now. :)
Backing Off
Hey everyone. I didn't want to just disappear without an explanation, so here I am, giving you all a big ole wave and hoping you all do great this year with your goals! I need to take a break, though. From all things social media, so I'm leaving for a while. Not forever, but for a while. My mental state tanked quite a bit this last few weeks, and the only way I can see a way out of it is to just disappear for a while. I'm going to spend the next few months working on my garden and stuff, and writing in notebooks only, and just enjoying a quiet life away from social media. I want to read about great achievements whenever I come back, though. Get your words out there. Make yourself known! Don't wait for things to come. GO TO THE THINGS. You know what you want. GET THEM! NOW! Before you find yourself wondering where all the years went. Wondering about "what ifs." WHAT IF is too late. Do now. This is your moment. This is your time. Go out there in the world and claim it with your emotions, with your words, and with your lion's roar! You hear me friends? Get out there and make a name for yourself. As for me, I am going to do it for myself for a few months. Peace, love, and happiness is what I hope for you all. And I'm hoping to see great things when I get back. DO IT. Just as Bukowski said. DO IT! DO IT. do it. do it.

Again, I can't find it. Is this IG or the website? When I go to them, I see nothing about a current live event.

I figured it out. I can't access via laptop for some reason. I need to add an app of some sort, but I can connect with my phone in IG to get live stuff. I'm going to do some phone updating tomorrow and add my accounts to it. I'm terrible with using my phone. I mainly use it as a tethering tool for the laptop.
