Missouri chapter meeting was from 6:30 to 7:30...
... and we got a lot accomplished. Our WINS included an excellent Networking event, more time devoted to writing, a second open Mic show with an interview, our variety show, 2 books were published by 2 different members, scheduling and research was improved, networking was increased, performing live for the first time, excelling with learning python computer language, and a book signing is scheduled. The lessons learned included: need to concentrate more on WHY, need to network even more, need to check and double check your work and decisions, get better at understanding all the electronic devices, don't put too much in your plate at one time, multiple different types of editing you can get for your book, need to be more organized, if you have a new book, don't leave home without copies. The meeting spot is not really good for the LIVE Meet (The TVs were blaring, the music was blaring, and we sat together and took care of business. I doubt anyone on LIVE could make any sense of our conversation). I caught a couple of smiles or curious looks as people ate their crab legs and watched us meet. I collected the WINS and Lessons Learned first, then we spoke about future business and how we can raise funds. I firmed up our variety show with the performers ready to go. We forgot to take a picture, but everyone left happy and glad to have like minded people to collaborate with. Great meeting!
