Who's good at scaping data?
There's a site that let's me put in a zip code and it shows me all the stores of a certain industry around that zip code. The data about these stores must be compiled in some database, right? It also looks like each of those stores might have their own page on this site (containing the store name and address). Any Ronin know how to scrape data this data so I can gather it all without entering every zipcode in the country? Would appreciate the assist.
Nothing happens if a deal doesn't have ....
I don't agree with a lot of tech start-up ideas (especially 9-9-6) but this has been true for me as well... Apparently there's a saying... "First time founders start with product. Second time founders start with distribution." Finding people to give you their product is pretty easy. It's less easy (but still doable) to find distribution. So I find it best to start with distribution and then plug in products.

Hey Ronin, I was lucky enough find a partner who is an author in the IM space. We are taking one of his books and turning it into a 4 week writing course. If you have an audience, then I am all ears.

Could you give us a little more info about who this writing course would help and what the 'better version of themself" will be after they take the course?
Got a partner with 13,000+ email subscribers, and a YouTube account with 400k subscribers
This partner has a course that he sells for $500 and a coaching program that costs $300 a month. 1:1 coaching is between 3k to 5k. Out of the 13,000 subscribers, 2,000+ bought the course already. We agreed on a 3 month test where I get a percentage of course, group coaching, and 1:1 coaching sales. I also get a higher percentage if I generate the lead from his YouTube channel or Instagram account. I want to figure out the best way to approach this… He normally opens the course two to three times a year with one of those PLF style funnels. The last time he did this was in May. But he also did a webinar in June as he partnered with another company and they promoted his webinar to their list for free. He got 8k email subscribers from it. The other 5k signed up to a waitlist for his course. 2k out of them already purchased. Since then, he hasn’t opened the doors, but he has emailed his list a couple of times. My plan was to start with a sales saver campaign (to people who attended the webinar and didn’t buy), get some sales through it, and also figure out the objections/beliefs the subscribers have, and then send belief shifting emails to the entire list. First to promote the course, then a group coaching program at 3k. Please let me know if this is a good plan, or if it's too late for a sales saver campaign and what would be the best way to approach this?

Sales Savers are normally run right after the promotion... You could certainly try it, but don't be surprised if people have forgotten about the June offer. Might be a better approach to start with a poll. See who's still hot for this offer's benefits. Once you have the poll data you can decide what's the best move for the next promotion.
