Agency Dudes Is Going on Pause (For Now)
Hey legends 👋 This isn’t an easy post to write - because building Agency Dudes with you has been a blast. From the live Q&A calls to the DMs, the feedback, and the energy in this Skool community - we’ve loved every second of it. But after a lot of thought, we’ve decided to put Agency Dudes on pause for now. Here’s why: Our focus has shifted. DataDoe, our AI-powered analytics platform for Amazon brands and agencies, has grown into something way bigger than we expected. To do it right, we need to go all-in. That means our time, energy, and brainpower have to be fully locked in on building it. This doesn’t mean Agency Dudes is dead. Far from it. When the time is right, we’ll be back - stronger, smarter, and with even more value to share. Because teaching is in our DNA. It’s literally how we built our 7-figure agency, Deltologic - by sharing how we solve real-life tech problems through tutorials, code walkthroughs, and live builds. That mission hasn’t changed - we’re just hitting pause to build something game-changing. We’ll be shutting down the Skool community shortly, but we’d love to stay connected: 🔗 Connect with me and Kris on LinkedIn: 👉 Jakob Wolitzki 👉 Kris Krokos 📸 I’m also active on Instagram: 👉 @jakobowsky Whether you joined a Q&A call, dropped a comment, or just lurked and soaked up value - we appreciate you. This community meant a lot to us. And trust me, our paths haven’t ended - they’ve just taken a little detour. Keep grinding. Keep building. We’ll see you soon. - Jakob & Kris 🚀

DataDoe Progress, AI Agents & What Video Do You Want Next?
Hey everyone, quick update from our side. We’re fully focused on building DataDoe, our first SaaS product. It’s a big push and honestly, we’re short on time. That means videos and content are moving a bit slower right now. But we still want to drop something for the community. What video do you want to see next? What’s a topic you’d love us to cover that would actually help you move forward? Drop your ideas in the comments — we’ll pick from what’s most useful for the group. Quick tech update from our CTO (I thought it would be nice to drop it here): We’re currently testing AI coding agents to speed up our dev work: - Cursor AI - VS Code Agent Mode You’ll hear more about these tools and how we’re using them in future tech updates. Also curious — how are you using AI in your day-to-day work? - Have you tested any AI coding agents yourself? - Would you trust an AI to ship your production code? - Are tools like this the future of solo agencies? We want to hear what you’re trying, where you’re stuck, and what you’d want to learn more about. Stuff we’re reading/listening to right now: 1. Signal App mistake + Ford AI use (WSJ, 26.03.2025) - Military officials accidentally included a journalist in Signal chat. Ford is now going all-in on AI agents and Nvidia chips. Worth a listen. 2. AI is creating tech monopolies (Bloomberg, 21.03.2025) - How Nvidia, SK Hynix, and others are dominating the AI market. Crazy scale, big risks. 3. China’s DeepSeek AI app shocks the market (29.01.2025) - Built in 2 months, cost $6M, caused a $1T drop in US tech valuations in one day. It’s being downloaded worldwide, despite censorship issues. Let us know what’s on your mind — AI, video topics, tools you're trying. We’re building in the background and want to keep these convos going. – the Agency Dudes team

When to Hire Developers for Your Software Agency
Hey Dudes! 👋 New video just dropped. We got this question from our community about when to hire developers for your software agency, and I decided to make a video answering it. If you’re struggling with building your team or wondering when to make that first hire, this one’s for you! Quick heads-up—there’s no Q&A session this week. Sorry about that! I’m flying to Las Vegas for a conference and we’ve been super busy launching a new product for our company. If you’re curious, check out DataDoe.com—it’s an AI tool for Amazon sellers. But don’t worry—I’ll plan a Q&A session as soon as I’m back! In the meantime, keep dropping your questions here in the community! I’ll be recording videos with answers during the trip, so hit me up with anything you’re struggling with or curious about. 💬 👉 https://youtu.be/T6qP3eA9K6Q?si=mjuhv7k-tZ8s1Ulq Keep grinding! 💪

@Jonathan Miz thanks man, appreciate it. When it comes to giving access to new contractors, here’s how we handle it: First, we make sure they sign an NDA and our standard freelance or employee contract—non-negotiable, even for short gigs. Once that’s done, we add them to Slack. Then we assign ClickUp access with limited permissions (only to the projects and tasks they’re working on). For devs, we give GitHub access repo-by-repo with the right roles depending on what they need. We’re pretty strict about access control—no one gets into core systems without paperwork done first. Keeps things clean and secure.

How We Hire Developers at Deltologic
Hiring devs? Don’t wing it. Just dropped a full breakdown on YouTube — worth a watch if you’re building a tech team. 👉 https://youtu.be/p5VUorYnV4I?si=Qu-TDHPyl6ZeodZL Here’s the 3-step process we use (after working with 40–50 engineers): 1. Job boards + LinkedIn outreach→ Executive Assistant filters CVs in ClickUp based on tech stack, keywords, etc. 2. Initial call (15 min)→ English check, current role, tech experience, salary, notice period. Be brutally honest about the role. 3. Tech task + dev call→ 1 week to complete, then a deep dive with our senior dev + final 20-min vibe check with me. No 5-step circus. Just a fast, proven system. Curious to hear — what’s your hiring process look like in your agency?

My first few YT videos + introduction
Hey everyone, Daniel here (23yo) from Denmark. I came across Jakob a while ago, probably over a year. After sending him a cold email with a personal Loom video asking about his journey running his agency, he sent me back a really detailed video response, extremely helpful. Since then, I have been trying to meet other people like Jakob to learn, either in the transition between work->freelance or freelance->agency, or currently running an agency. After 2 years of making money online on the side doing various software jobs, I quit studying for my electronics and computer science degree, and went all in on just the work. Now I've been freelancing for the past 5 years doing various gigs on Upwork (great place to start!) and with my network, and I have enough relations with past clients to keep myself busy and not broke (thankfully). I'm working on a YouTube channel to focus more on delivering specifically Shopify dev services. (YT: @daniel.holler). The goal with this channel is to make videos just like Jakob but for Shopify. Then use this to generate so much work that I can begin to charge premiums, and then slowly build this into an agency. My first few videos seem well received, but I am still a beginner in the content game, so there is lots to learn from Jakob and everyone else here! One big issue I have been having the entire time doing freelancing is that it's much more difficult to offer services in any area of software/web development, so that's why I'm niching in on Shopify. I have my first Shopify specific client - a migration project from another platform to Shopify - which I'm very excited about. There are not many groups to come across like this one, so it's nice to be a part of the community with you all. Nice to meet you all, and hope to see you on the next group call!

Yo Daniel, great to have you here man. Crazy to think you sent me that cold Loom video over a year ago. I actually used to do the same thing when I was getting started—reached out to a bunch of founders and was surprised how many actually replied and helped out. That kind of initiative pays off. Totally hear you on freelancing being tough. Whether you’re solo or running an agency, it’s all service work—and that means every client needs to feel like your only client. But if you stick with it and do great work, it can pay really well and open a lot of doors. Love that you’re niching down into Shopify and building a YouTube channel around it. That’s such a strong move—niche + content = leverage. If you stay consistent with YouTube, you’ll get inbound leads, charge premiums, and make that agency transition way easier. Also, glad you’re liking the community. It’s been a bit quiet here the last few weeks because I was in Thailand and the US—just landed back in Poland today actually. Trying to catch up on work and also launching our first product: DataDoe.com — it’s been wild. I’ll definitely be sharing that journey here too. And yes—we’ll be starting weekly calls very soon. Time to bring the energy back. Congrats on everything you’re building, man. You’re doing all the right things! 🥳
