@Rose Colbourne She said she had your back but no one is even against you. You were put in charge. Plus you have no idea what to expect! Invisibility cloak!
Strange Ways 🫠
"Whose ways are strange when you're trying to survive?" This is one of my favorite songs. (By request of @Alvaro Perez ) Short and to the point but with great depth. And the video is creative AF. 😎 ENJOY. 🙏

@Alvaro Perez I can understand that. Language goes a long way. I can't understand Spanish, so I've never liked Spanish music, lol. There are some dope Hispanic artists (that rap in English) but I'm not sure about from Spain specifically. I just heard some French rap a couple of months ago that was pretty dope so who knows? LOL. I might have to check it out. It looks interesting. I know I've seen other John Carpenter flicks so I'll have to look them up and see if I'd still watch them today.

@Julianne Anderson this is one of my all time favorite songs and videos. Profound, creative, catchy. Short and sweet.💯
9/11 25 Years Later...
This is one of those days where you might remember exactly where you were. One of those days that shifts us into a different version of reality. The modern day that lives in infamy. Some people never know anything different but there is a time when it was. Decades of war later... So many lost but none forgotten. Extra surveillance and "security"... Is anything any safer? Has anything gotten better? Or has it gotten worse? A day to remember. A day to reflect. A day to keep it moving and keep on going. One Love. 🙏

@Julianne Anderson That does seem to happen. A year was a year until suddenly there went 10. Something is wrong with the hourglass, lol.

@Julianne Anderson I've got to figure out time travel with a quickness.
☁👋 On the 10th Day of Cloud Hands...
We look at the practice from a different angle. Up to this point, we've been looking at Cloud Hands as a Qigong practice So today we look at some of the martial applications. On the 1st DAY we played with the movement of the hands and arms. On the 2nd DAY we added some substance and structure. On the 3rd DAY we turned the Kwa (Pelvis) and shifted the weight. On the 4th DAY we brought it all together. "One part moves, all parts move." On the 5th DAY, we refined with "separate and combine." On the 6th DAY, we looked at some details by breaking the circles into parts. On the 7th DAY, we focused on the breath On the 8th DAY, we began to look at the flow of Qi. On the 9th DAY, we "feel" what's going on within. Don't think, FEEL. This is a feeling out process. A reconnecting. Today, on the 10th Day, we expand the picture with some martial applications. Remember to go with the FLOW. Float thru the practice... Float thru the day.😎 ENJOY playing in the clouds.☁️🙏 NEXT: DAY 11 ▶️ P.S. There is no rush and there are no rules. You can stay on the first video for a week or run through all of them in a day. I've dripped them out this way to give everyone a little time to practice each one and let it sink in both mentally and physically.

@Julianne Anderson Protect your face, head, neck, is usually a major key. You don't need to be very big to do damage but usually there are better options to opt for. Sometimes people could use a swift kick tho, lol.

@Julianne Anderson ROM is a big factor in quality of life and is much more important than "flabby", lol. Everyone has the same weak points, eyes, throat, groin, etc. Kicks are risky because people usually aren't great on one leg. It depends on the severity of the situation of course, but in a UFC fight, they have to manicure their nails and an accidental eye poke can sometimes cause them to call off the fight. An intentional attack can blind someone. It's usually better for us to have peace if we can help it but I know you know that, lol.
You Are The Author Of Your Story! ✍️
A lot of people get stuck in the past. We've all heard we need to be more present. Where does the future fit in? You are the author of your own story... What are you writing? Martial arts takes a similar approach. One is imagined. One is experienced. But where do imagination and experience meet? Crossover? And change places.☯️ Have you ever tried anything like this? WDYT? 🤷‍♂️

@Julianne Anderson Word. I circle back to things a lot, sometimes I have them sitting there for days but things find us at the right time. This is the first video of hers I've watched and I'm interested to hear more of what she has to say. Usually it all comes down to action, do or do not, no try. But there is the idea that if you think you can or think you can't, you're probably right. So sometimes we have to talk ourselves into things (or stop talking ourselves out of them which seems like that's usually more of the real issue).

@Julianne Anderson It is a common practice for sure. I wonder how much of it is that actually working vs. overriding the negative... But we do tend to limit ourselves so whatever works to help us expand and grow it doesn't really matter if it's placebo effect or anecdotal evidence as long as we get the results we're after. I had a bad temper and I found that if I just ran until the point where all I could think about was trying to catch my breath, I didn't have any other capacity left to be angry. Was it placebo or could it be measured by blood flow, oxygen, endorphins, etc.? It worked so it kind of doesn't matter. As far as anyone can tell, the journey is the point, so if it takes you where you want to go, "right" or "wrong" are often relative/subjective. If you're going to have to spend your money on something, there are worse things to spend it on than connecting with other people and brightening their day.🙏
