We’ve talked about balance when it comes to consuming food. We’ve talked about balance when it comes to whole-food nutrition vs. processed foods. But if we truly want to live an overall balanced lifestyle, we must also consider our exercise habits, sleep habits, and rest days—because the truth is that all of these things together make up a healthy and balanced life. If one is neglected, the rest of them don’t work as well. Health is comprehensive. Balance is, too. Just as it is with nutrition, exercise, sleep, and rest can all swing too far one way. You can exercise too much. You can exercise too little (although, something is always better than nothing!) You can sleep too much (but can you really, though? 😉) You can sleep too little. You can rest too much. You can rest too little. You can do anything too much, and you can do anything too little. This is the case in all areas of life. As I mentioned earlier in the week, it’s about finding your sweet spot. Consider this today ⬇️ When you’re trying to find your balance sweet spot, what is something that is sustainable, yet slightly challenges you? Your plan shouldn’t be predestined to defeat you, but for growth to happen, it needs to be slightly outside of your comfort zone. This is how you find balance that also comes with growth. 💯
