Most People Judge Cold Calling by the Wrong Thing
Quick tip if you're doing your own cold calling or running a caller for your business. A lot of people judge cold calling success based on how many leads they get. But that’s the wrong metric, especially early on. The real question is: are you even talking to people? If you're dialing but not reaching anyone, you're not failing at sales — you're failing at contact. And if you're managing a rep, but they aren’t getting real conversations, nothing else matters. You should be focused on three things: - Am I making enough dials - Am I reaching actual sellers - Am I improving how I handle conversations Everything else comes after that. Been working with a few teams lately on this. Once they shifted focus to contact rate and quality of convos, the leads started showing up fast.
Quick tip for anyone pulling lists right now
Something I wish I knew earlier about wholesaling that most people miss: The list and skip tracing aren't even 50% of the game. It's your contact rate. You can have the best list on earth, but if you're not hitting enough real numbers, getting past voicemails, and actually speaking to people, you're dead in the water. The best wholesalers obsess over how many real sellers they're talking to every single day. That's why things like multi-line dialers, voicemail skipping, and having callers who sound like your market make such a huge difference. The list matters, but your contact rate is what keeps your pipeline alive. Just figured I’d drop this since I’ve been working with a few teams managing overseas callers for their cold calling. If anyone wants to chat about how to improve contact rates or how I structure my teams, feel free to reach out.

VAs questions
Hey everyone , saw a few posts about VAs lately so figured I’d share. I’ve been helping a couple wholesalers by setting up one dedicated cold caller each (based in Egypt, sounds super local, trained for REI). They’re averaging 30–40 motivated sellers a month, just one solid rep doing consistent work 40 hrs a week If you’re curious to know more, happy to chat.

VA’s - who to use?
I’m starting my search for VA’s to cold call my lists. Which overseas companies are you all using? Any recommendations? Thanks 🙏
