I've been always tracking this ratio since I sold my business and started working for a company. I call it ROIS (Return on Ivan Spend). It's a ration between how much Revenue I generate to How much I'm getting paid (Revenue generated devided by compensation). For past two years I've been at 6-7x. So, basically a very good ad campaigns if you ask me π
But what I found out, is that if that number is below 3x, it's actually costing that business to keep your considering all the other expenses. Do you think it's a healthy metric to track and should we judge sales people's performance with that?
