Mental tactics
Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice on the mental side of the game. In a previous doubles match, our opponents used deliberate verbal and gameplay distraction tactics to throw off our rhythm. It was fairly clear to us, and a few people watching, that it was being done on purpose. Although we won the match, l would like to be more prepared for this in future matches. What can i do to stop this from affecting me and my partner, and what are some methods that you find useful for these situations?

Coaches corner zoom training recording in comments
Tonight I’m joined by @Jimmy Skog for a special Zoom training call. Jimmy has been suffering with the mental side specifically his inability to let bad shots go and his tendency to focus on the negative in his game. This causes him to abandon his trust in himself and hunt for quick fixes in the moment. Everyone is invited to join this call as I believe it will help many of you.

Absolute classic women's semi final at Bergerac
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RxcqpMWLJCE&pp=ygUtRmVtaW5lIGRlbWkgZmluYWxlIG5hdGlvbmFsIHBldGFucXVlIGJlcmdlcmFj You'll need a bit of time to watch this but an absolute classic of a game. So much to discuss , no spoilers so won't mention the result . Anna mallard pointing throughout was immaculate, Peyet (sp) shooting gathering momentum after a shaky start . Watched first hour last night and finished watching this morning, making me late for work 🙃

I have noticed this past few months how much more relaxed with almost zero stress I have when playing in the bigger comps and matches. I put this down to having a proper process and to use @Kevin ORourke phrase" we're not playing for a row of houses " . Smile when under pressure is another way of helping in your game
Quiz option for future videos
I have discovered that I can add a quiz option to my match coverage videos. If I added a section asking you if you would shoot point or shoot the Jack at a point within a match, would you be likely to click one of the options? This will help with my engagements and actually get people thinking rather than just passively watching a game. Your comments are very much appreciated
