Looking to get a pair of fall/winter boots
Hi, I am struggling to find a a style of boots that fit my style. What is my style you may ask, well that is not entirely defined yet😜 though I lean towards a well put together refined casual look. I have recently bought some chinos in khaki, light beige and navy as well as classic warpstreme 5-pocket trousers from lululemon in obsidian and army green. I have a pair of white sneakers and some shoes from Nike, I really like the comfort from the Nike shoes and ease of use. And I really like the look of the sneakers though they are a bit more uncomfortable as my feet are not used to that type of shoe. As the title suggests I am now looking for a pair of boots that goes well with my pants without feel overdressed. Possibly brown leather. Any thoughts on what this may be, suggestions is very much appreciated. A pair of boots is an investment and would hate to”waste” money on a pair that does not feel right. I live in Norway so snow is to be expected. But I don’t need crazy warm shoes. Thanks

I started with a simple black leather chukka. Looks good with pretty much all I wear
Face Up, or Face Down
Ok, get your mind out of the gutter. I'm asking about how you wear your watch. My dad would wear his face down because he was always hitting his watch against things and didn't want to scratch or break the face. He also said it was easier for him to read the time. However, watch styles have greatly evolved (from back in the day) and I would guess that at least 85% wear theirs face up. What is your preference and why?

In high school I rocked a pocket watch. When wearing a wrist watch, I wear it face down.
New watch
A coworker & good friend gifted me this Hugo Boss watch. I enjoy the minimalist look to it

Carrying keys
I’ve been trying to find a way to carry my keys. I’ve pared it down to just 3 keys and alarm fob. Any suggestions?

@Rich Czerwonky I may go that route. I hate digging in my pockets for them, especially if I have other things in there

Bought this tryout for size. Will try other options. This particular one was pretty loose with the keys.
Being Tired Isn’t an Excuse
"I'm tired." Guess what? So is everyone else. That includes anyone who's ever gone out and done anything of true significance. All of history's greatest feats were accomplished by tired people. It's the default state for anyone doing anything worthwhile. Get used to it. Being tired isn't your excuse to not execute. If you're working hard to build yourself and your life into something extraordinary... You're supposed to be tired. The real magic happens when you push yourself past the point of being tired. It's when you think you can't take another step but you do. It's when you're running on empty but muster enough energy to get it done anyways. High achievers don't leave anything left in their tank. They understand that in order to reach their goals... Their effort has to go beyond what their energy level is. Success comes down to your ability to manufacture energy when it isn't there. ...and once you've pushed yourself past that point... You'll come to realize that being tired is far more of a mental limitation than an actual physical one. Train yourself to empty your tank to absolute zero and keep moving. Nothing less will get it done. ~ Andy Frisella

Steel is forged by taking a beating under pressure. You have to make it through to come out stronger. But steel can’t forge itself, there is at least one person to forge it. Relying on someone for help isn’t a bad thing. Though I try to follow that, I was raised to be as self reliant as possible
