The Bad Little Piggy Lied To Me.
I pressed send anyway. $1,584.97 landed in my account by 2:08 PM Monday. Chad here. Since 2023, I've been "trying" to build PiggyBANKING income... partnerships, deal making, licensing. Income that doesn't require trading hours for dollars. And if I'm being honest? I've been like a slow roasted pig about it. Not because the opportunities weren't there. Not because I lacked the skills. I was slow because of a voice. A bad little piggy sitting on my shoulder whispering that it'll never work. That partnerships are a pipe dream for people like me. Sound familiar? That voice gets loudest when we're staring at an outreach email. Cursor blinking. Finger hovering over send. "Why would they say yes? Just keep freelancing. Go back to the 9-5." Most people listen. They draft the email and never send it. They tell themselves they just need a little more time to prepare. 2026 is where I changed. It started with walking away from a lucrative partnership... on purpose. That decision was the exact moment I stopped "trying" to make deals and started actually making them. Since then? Two partnerships in motion. One with fellow PiggyBANKER @Tony Teegarden and a partner that has an 85,000 person email list. Another partnership is an auction I'm running next Tuesday. Not because the bad piggy voice disappeared. Because I stopped letting it run point. Then last week, I got a reminder that this extends beyond deal making. Last August, our septic pipe backed up completely. We replaced everything... New pipes, new ductwork, the dryer outlet too. Life moved on. Fast forward to this past week. My homeowners insurance came up for renewal, and a thought hit me: "What if insurance could reimburse us for part of that damage?" Right on cue, the bad piggy showed up loud. "No way they cover that. It's been nine months. You'll spend months fighting the claims adjuster." I filed the claim Monday morning anyway. 2:08 PM — $1,584.97 deposited.

Great advice @Chad Boswell - well done
My slow start to 2026
What's up PiggyBANKERS? I have found myself feeling a bit unmotivated since kicking off the new year. However, I've got a few things planned for our community including finishing up a PiggyBANKING Playbook, setting up a follow up interview with Mr. @Tony Teegarden (date TBD), and some other real world examples of PiggyBANKING brands. I appreciate you all hanging here with me. Before I jump... How has your 2026 been rolling so far? Let's get piggy wit it, PB Chad BTW, I've gotten on a bit of a Simpsons kick lately.

Last couple of weeks has been the time where if I get things set up correctly in the day job, it will allow me to step back and focus on IP partners. So that has been the focus. Hate to say it, but stepping back from social channels (apart from Skool) has felt refreshing
Happy 2026!
What's up PiggyBANKERS? Happy New Year a bit early. Thanks for being here and making this last quarter of 2025 a blast! Between Christmas and now I had some plans to put more stuff up here in the group. Then, I decided it could wait until after the new year. So, I've tried to take some down time, go visit my daughter and her husband and have a second Christmas at my sister-in-law's house. My wife, youngest son and me will quietly celebrate the ball drop at midnight EST. No major hoorah this year but I'm glad for simple and quiet. How about you? What have you been up to since Christmas? Do you stay up to watch the ball drop or will you already be asleep (no judgement). -PB Chad

Happy New Year @Chad Boswell
I'm scrapping the auction idea but still need your help...
I'm reminding myself today that everything is a test. Seems there wasn't enough juice to squeeze out for an auction. But if you can give me a hand with something real quick I'd appreciate it. We're getting close to the point where I will start charging new PiggyBANKERS to join us. However, I'm stumped on how much to charge. Based on what value you've gotten from this community, what do you think I should charge? If you vote a lower number, can you tell me what you feel is missing that would make it more valuable?

I will have a think on this, but one question.. Is there a reason you wouldn't go for tiers? Could also go with $X per month until we hit * members, then price becomes $Y
A real world example of PiggyBANKING
I made this video for the About page but wanted you all to see it too. If my nerdiness isn't too much for you and you want to stick around after you watch... I'd love your feedback on the real world illustration I give here! Also, if you haven't seen this post from earlier today... I'd love your help on what you feel this community is worth to you! https://www.skool.com/piggybanking-brand-creators-8574/im-scrapping-the-auction-idea-but-still-need-your-help?p=47ba8fce Let's Get Piggy Wit It, Chad
