I Carried Everyone. Then I Cracked.
I used to think I had to fix everything. Be the one who held it all together. No cracks. No mess. Perfect dad. Solid leader. Stoic as hell. But real life? It is messy. The people I love most? “Crazy but good” doesn’t even scratch the surface. They’re healing. Hurting. Growing. Just like me. The truth is, Some days I still carry too much, Smile when I’m wrecked inside, Lead when I barely believe in myself. But I’ve stopped pretending. I’ve stopped trying to “fix” the ones I love. I just show up. I love them hard. I keep us moving forward. If you're in the thick of it, Holding it down for everyone but yourself... You’re not broken. You’re becoming. Drop a 💯 if you're riding through the chaos too.

It's our own type of "complete metamorphosis"
FIELD INTEL | Pest Control Pro Network
Most technicians lose jobs before they ever touch a sprayer. Not because of chemistry. Not because of equipment. Because they misread the battlefield. Here’s a reminder from the field 👇 🔍 The 3 Signs You’re Treating the Symptom, Not the Pest You’re applying product before confirming biology If you don’t know why the pest is there, you’re just guessing with chemicals. You skipped exclusion and sanitation Chemical control without environmental correction = temporary victory. You didn’t set expectations with the client No briefing = no trust. No trust = callbacks. 🧠 Tactical Reminder IPM isn’t a buzzword. It’s discipline. Identify. Eliminate conditions. Apply with purpose. Document everything. 🎯 Question for the Network What’s the most common pest mistake you see techs make in the field right now? Drop it below. Sharpen the blade together. Eradication is the mission. Control is the method. Education is the edge.

I think the packed route sheets have some impact on this as well. The labor market... all the usual suspects. The biggest issue I see overall in the field is the lack of communication between the customer and the technician. The customer has no expectation... they expect magic. As professionals, we have to educate the client in a way they understand, and earn that business through our knowledge.
