Although I’m not fully satisfied with my results yet—mainly because of my terrible uneven oven—I just wanted to say thank you!😊 I’m still new to baking macarons. I’ve been researching them for about a year, but only now did I finally feel ready to give them a try. I’ve spent a lot of time going through recipes from well-known bakers, and to be fair, most of them wasn’t successful. Any method simply didn’t work, neither Italian. 😬 I felt like I’d never reach it. But something deep inside me kept saying that I should keep trying, then I saw your post on TikTok and I ended up here! I also purchased some expensive e-books and courses, which, honestly, I regret buying and seeing my bank statement: they weren’t worth it. Same method but WAY TOO FAR from all this gold here! So, @Crystal Arvelo , I just wanted to thank you for sharing your experience and recipe. I know it can sometimes feel like people only show up on internet to complain when something goes wrong with their macarons, not throwing shade, just speaking generally about the macaron community anywhere, but even so, I truly appreciate your help, especially since you do it so generously without charging anything. I sincerely hope that God or whatever you believe in blesses you and brings you prosperity. You have brought hope to so many people here. I may not be a professional baker but I know others people here are, and your help has probably made a real difference for them. I just felt it was necessary and well deserved to pass by and say thanks. 💜

My children love to pick the flavors of the macarons I make and I have learned that if I include them and indulge them it really just pulls them into this whole process. This week I let them all (4) pick a new flavor to make. My oldest picked Dubai, my son picked sugar cookie and my twins picked fruity pebbles and chocolate chip cookie dough. They were all delicious! The sugar cookie one I made a vanilla buttercream and mixed in some edible sugar cookie dough into the buttercream and then stuck some extra edible dough in the inside. Such a fun week and they are already coming up with new ideas. 😂

Hello, folks! My boy will turn 10 the next month, I’d like to freeze the macs because I fear I can do something wrong and end up frustrated and with no Macs on the table lol Can I freeze them? And if yes how the process of unfreeze looks like? Thank you!!

Just moved to a commercial kitchen! Excited and nervous. My home convection oven (Unox) is a 4-tray half sheet. Here I’ll have access to two 3-tray full sheet ovens! Most I’ve ever made at a time was 8 batche (about 900g of AF). wondering how many cookies I’ll be able to make with this one… what’s the most cookies/batches you have made at one time? Any one have advice on the max they would recommend?
