What is the best thing you everdid to lower your blood sugar?

Sticking to low carb meals and not eating all breads, cereals, sugar sweeteners, no chocolate bars, eating alot of oatmeal and berries, trying to keep fitness level up. I've lowered my glucose level from 7.4 to 7.1 in one month.
How often are you checking blood sugar
Curious to hear from everyone — how often are you testing right now? ✅ Before meals ✅ After meals ✅ Once a day ✅ Only at the doctor’s office ✅ Not sure where to start Drop your answer below — no judgment here, we’re just comparing notes. 🙌

I test each morning before breakfast and then after lunch or dinner daily switching lunch and dinner daily. I'm eating very little carbs. My morning seems to spike from time to time. I'm testing 2.5 hours after a meal.
What raises your sugar the most?
If you had to pick ONE food you struggle with the most for your blood sugar… what would it be? 🍕🍩🍷

I struggle with bread. Not sure if there is one bread that is okay to eat in moderation.

@Kristine Maggs right now I'm forgoing all bread as my wish is to reverse my type 2 diabetic situation if possible
Its not just diet
Your blood sugar doesn’t just respond to food — it responds to everything in your day.👉 Sleep.👉 Stress.👉 Movement. Here’s my challenge for you today: 🔹 Rate your last night’s sleep on a scale of 1–10 (1 = awful, 10 = best night ever).🔹 Share your fasting blood sugar this morning (if you checked). Do you notice a connection? 👀 Drop your numbers below — you might be surprised at how much sleep and stress show up in your blood sugar. Accountability works..... Mine (type 1) was 107

I must be doing something wrong? My meter isn't showing these scores. I took my reading at 7:30 am before breakfast and it showed 7.2. My sleep was 7 out of 10

@Kristine Maggs is there a conversion method so I can do the conversion and post it here?
exercise and blood sugar
Did you know just a 10-minute walk after meals can lower blood sugar by 20–30 points? 🚶‍♀️ What’s your favorite way to sneak in movement during the day?

I try to do a 5km walk or 10km bike ride after dinner most evenings
