Why we struggle to hear God clearly
One of the most common things women shared in our recent poll was a desire for clarity and direction — especially hearing God more clearly in this season. But if we’re honest, sometimes that can feel harder than we expected. Not because God isn’t speaking — but because life can get loud. Sometimes the challenge is: ☑️ Noise and overwhelm — our minds are full of responsibilities, decisions, and constant input. ☑️ Fear of getting it wrong — we don’t want to mishear God or make the wrong move. ☑️ Expecting dramatic answers — when often God leads through steady nudges, wisdom, and quiet confirmation over time. Many times we’re looking for lightning bolts… while God is offering a lamp for the next step. Clarity often comes as we slow down, pay attention, and trust the guidance He’s already giving. When you’re trying to hear God in your life right now… What feels hardest? Is it: • Quieting the noise • Fear of making the wrong decision • Knowing whether something is truly from God • Or something else?
