🎤 [Call for Interviews] Looking for coffee lovers to feature in my French newsletter!
Hi everyone, I’m currently looking to feature coffee professionals and passionate people – café owners, roasters, baristas, importers, trainers, etc. – in a written interview series for my weekly newsletter on specialty coffee. 🗞️ The newsletter is called Le Petit Journal du Café – it’s short, insightful, a bit cheeky, and 100% dedicated to the people, places and ideas that make the coffee world so vibrant. 📌 A few details: - The interview is done in writing, with 4 to 5 questions max. - It will be published in French – either you write your answers in French, or I’ll translate them if you prefer answering in English. - I’m mainly looking for people who love what they do and want to share a bit of their journey, vision, and coffee philosophy. If this sounds like something you’d enjoy – or if you know someone who might be up for it – feel free to DM me or comment below. Thanks a lot, and hope to hear from some of you soon! — Cédric / Le Petit Journal du Café

I'm repeating my request here after having made several requests, none of which were successful... So I'm looking for serious people who are genuinely interested! Thank you.

@Luke Gilbert Never, I'm still a beginner in the coffee community.
My presentation
Hey everyone ! My name’s Cédric, I live in France and I’m a big coffee enthusiast — mostly into espresso, but always curious to discover more, as long as it smells amazing and kicks my brain into gear ☕️ I recently launched a brand-new newsletter (in French) called Le Petit Journal du Café, published weekly on Substack. It’s a mix of coffee news, stories, and curiosities, written in a light, engaging tone — think of it as a little dose of caffeine for your inbox. If you don’t speak French, no worries — it’s super easy to translate with tools like DeepL or Google Translate (the language is simple and flows well). I joined this group to connect with other coffee lovers, learn from the community, and share this passion. Looking forward to chatting with you all!

@Luke Gilbert I became interested in good coffee after meeting some experts, then I tasted it and loved it. Then, to launch a newsletter about coffee, it's very simple, I use Substack.

NERDY HELP
Over the past year I have been slowly, painstakingly compiling a WORLD COFFEE MAP for specialty/third wave coffee shops in any city I do research on, watch a video from, or read an article from someone I trust. I add them so that if I'm ever in the area I can check them out, and also send a link to friends when they are travelling so they can find good coffee. I've been to many of them myself, but obviously not all. 500+ on there currently. What I'd love is if any of you have places to add, since we're from all over the world. This is NOT about cafes, this is about specialty coffee. Sure if its a cafe that has food but also very good coffee it's fine, but not just a cafe with regular coffee on sale. Drop a few spots from your hometown or any places you hit on trips that were great and I will add them to the map too so it keeps growing and includes more and more countries! Thanks in advance for anyone who can be bothered to reply! haha https://maps.app.goo.gl/uievCFiVCWerecZw6
