Thanks!

I've been in here a while thanks to @Sheena Mason-White but only just looked in the classroom and found my 'to do' list! I'll be honest, I thought this was a warm and friendly, celebration filled community, and thats very lovely, but I had no idea until just now that there are trainings on how to do skooll and run a community. How wonderful! Bonus! I'm Carrie, a posture and mobility and bodywork nerd. Having worked as an osteopath and yoga teacher for 30 years my appraoach helps you to find missing links in your body to get to the source of pain and dysfunction. I started my skool community 10 months ago without really knowing how to run it, so I feel like its been very hit and miss. I'm excited to learn more here! Favouite colour: Blues I dont know anything about pokemon characters! My biggest skool challenge is knowing how to have an engaged, interactive community who are prepared to learn how to use skool ( I think the newness has been a barrier for some) for their ultimate benefit. I made an attempt to recreate @Goose Dunlavey 's cover image from the template in lesson 4 and I thought I would share it.. Mainly because I am feeling nervous about showing up with it. Here's what this is bringing up for me: It feels fun and exciting and also it is causing all the questions... 'Is it too bright?, Is it too colorful and glittery? and well, is it too much?'... I am always amazed at that odd thing that rears it's head when we (I) attempt to express all of who we are and what we love (I am/love) can be met with these roadblocks. But, what I DO know is that since I joined Skool a little over a month ago and this community a week ago, I am feeling more and more myself, participating, and having fun - and that is a wonderful feeling!! Happy to hear thoughts, cheers, encouragement, feedback.. conversation. :)

okay last post on the IRL event I swear but just wanted to highlight how critical the VIP day was for us @Sam Greiner. If you have the opportunity pull the trigger. The general ticket day was great but the ability to have the whole IRL team and other VIP skoolers analyze our community was the most important part for us. It gave us direct feedback from our ideal members. We've completely changed how we are approaching things and we couldn't be more excited. It just makes too much sense when you get the perfect feedback mixed with all the data that the goosey gooses have.

This is my intro post 😅 Leaving behind my degree (Civil Engineer) , my family, and everything familiar in Iran, I stepped into Germany with nothing but a suitcase and a dream. I worked as a DHL driver, kitchen assistant, and even a hospital security guard — jobs that broke me down physically but built me up mentally. The defining moment came when I landed my first editing gig for a YouTuber. That single “yes” turned years of struggle into clarity: I wasn’t just surviving anymore — I was finally building a life on my own terms. Now, every piece of content I publish isn’t just content. It’s proof that no matter where you start, you can rewrite your story with persistence and courage. Fast forward to today, I started my community 4 weeks ago and we have a family of 80 people growing together. Happy to be here and I love that Kayak ads. 😉🫵🏼🫵🏼
