What do you usually have or breakfast?? I know it's a weird question...but a friend the other day shared with me his dream of opening an American breakfast place in Scotland, so I was thinking about it. And it got me thinking...what are we all eating in the mornings? I usually just have coffee, unless my wife baked cookies or something and then I eat one of those because they are there when I pass them 🙃🫣 I know @Tim Hess has scrapple and had to teach us all what that is 🙃

I shared this in my Day 5 of the Kickstart challenge and Jake suggested that it needed a standalone post in the Wins category. It really does feel like a win. I haven’t historically had great confidence in my voice but I have to admit that I am gaining some level of comfort with it and feel that it is something I can improve. When I was young - early elementary school - my music teacher was always pushing me to be in the school choir but then when my voice starting cracking at about age 11 she stopped. I don’t recall any specific negative comments but i certainly wasn’t invited to participate as much or in the same way. Anyway, it’s only been in the last couple of years I’ve stated to be more open to sharing anything and I’m hoping to eventually work up the confidence to maybe play and sing at an open mic. This song is featured in the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special where Kevin Bacon sings it with the band The Old 97s. Hope you enjoy it.
